Mr. Bennett is the owner of CB construction and landscaping. he is a really good guy. I recommend him to anybody. He definitely knows what he is doing. He is amazing guy. I would record him with anybody I really do and he works with everybody. Y?all should give him a chance he will show you what he can do and y?all would be a maid at the work key and his girlfriend. It?s really nice. also, she comes to his job sites also to help sometime y?all should hire him for any project y?all need done.
CB completed a full landscaping project for us on a new build including design and installation of plants, trees, mulch, grass, decorative stone and a retaining wall around the patio. The team is highly professional, friendly, timely and cleaned up nightly. They also coordinated well with our concrete and irrigation contractors. We received many compliments on the project. The team returned to re-seed a few areas after heavy rains washed out a portion of our newly seeded lawn. Great people to deal with.""
"Tim was hired to Trim, mow and tidy up the lawn trimmings on two properties and we could not be happier with the results! The is a true professional and has an eye for this type of work. I HIGHLY recommend Streff Lawn services."
Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts
Electrical fires are unique from other fire types because they have the potential to deliver electric shocks in addition to being on fire. Avoid serious injury from possible electrical emergency situations by avoiding the use of water, foam-based fire extinguishers, wet-chemical fire extinguishers, flour, or baking powder to put out an electrical fire.
Poorly designed and incorrectly installed outlets can create an electrical fire hazard, as do some phone chargers and adapters that plug into these outlets. However, most outlets are perfectly safe as long as they remain in working condition. Keep an eye on what you are plugging into the outlet and stay alert for signs of outlet malfunction, like sparks, burning smell, or frequent circuit tripping.
A smoke alarm that beeps periodically, often every 30 to 60 seconds, usually indicates a low battery. The first step is to replace the battery. If this doesn't solve the problem, try resetting the alarm. However, beeping can also signal other issues, such as dust buildup in the sensors or the unit reaching the end of its life. Different beep patterns can mean different things; for example, multiple beeps might indicate an issue with a combination carbon monoxide detector, while a continuous, loud alarm means smoke has been detected. If a new battery doesn't stop the beeping, it's best to consult your alarm's manual, call a professional, or replace the unit.
Yes, fire extinguishers eventually expire. However, the good news is that a properly stored fire extinguisher can last a decade or longer. They don’t have an expiration date on the canister, but you can check the manufacturing date on the “UL” nameplate near the classification information. Maintenance will also give your fire extinguisher longevity. Check the gauge at the top of the extinguisher every month. You'll want to make sure the gauge needle is in the green section, and if a hose or nozzle has been used or damaged, you need to replace it.
No, you should never leave a fireplace burning overnight or unattended during the day. While fireplaces are made to contain fires, fires can and do spread from fireplaces, so it’s crucial that you’re there to monitor them and put them out if needed. If you’re worried about putting out a fire before bed, stop feeding it fuel long before bedtime and actively put out the fire using your poker, a shovel, and some baking soda.
