Small jobs welcome

"Jason came out and installed a sub panel box for my pergola/pavillion. He hung light fixtures, a fan, installed multiple outlets with weatherproof boxes, and put the bistro lights on my fence on a switch too. He even fixed a bad breaker I had for my washer/dryer. Jason is a true professional, while also being a personable and easy-going, kind, trustworthy person. I felt very comfortable having Jason work at my home. It was a very large project, but he worked the whole day in the heat, never complaining once, until the job was done. It turned out gorgeous too, an impeccable job. A couple months later, I had a problem with my fan switch, and he showed up in 15 minutes of me calling and was able to promptly fix it. I highly recommend Jason to anyone seeking any sort of repairs/projects. 10/10."

"We had a great experience! He mounted a TV for my daughter and assembled a very complicated desk with multiple sliding drawers and lots of pieces. He was professional, efficient, and paid close attention to detail. Everything looks great and works perfectly. Highly recommend and would definitely use him again!"

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

DIY is not recommended due to safety concerns. Professional installation ensures proper connections and compliance with codes.

While it’s possible to repair minor grill issues like replacing a burner, more serious issues are clear indicators that you need to replace the entire unit. A few signs that your gas grill may be at the end of its life span and it’s time to consider replacing it include:

  • Rusty or cracked firebox

  • Weak, yellow, or uneven flames

  • Flaking, cracking grates

  • Leaking or cracked propane hoses

  • Failing igniter

  • Heavy buildup of grease

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.
