"After having really bad clogged sink & garbage disposal issues over several months I took advantage of a $39 special offered by this company.The service repairman, Chris, came on time, was very friendly and professional. It turned out my clogged sink needed much work. After failed attempts at trying to unclog the drains by indoor methods using several different lengths of snake, he ended up having to go on my roof a couple of times with his tools to finally be able to clear the drains. For awhile, it seemed nothing would work, but Chris expressed his determination and successfully completed the work.  For the first time in a long time, my drains work perfectly. His work time was approximately 2 hours. The total bill, not including the $39 special was 297.40, however, he gave me a $50 credit in place of the $39 so my balance ended up at $247.20. (
One quirk having nothing to do with the work but was a bit perplexing so I'll note it: Each time the office called me to either confirm the appointment or inform me Chris was on the way, the caller ID read 'Federal Express'. I don't pick up calls I don't have business with &/or recognize but  fortunately, I do have an account with FedEx so I picked up only to be surprised that it was the plumbing service. I could have missed the appointment. I reported this to the young lady after each call & suggested she might want to check with their phone company for an answer and resolution.)

"I called Progressive Pump on Wednesday, 4/8/15 requesting they come out and give me a quote. Tom was here that Friday, 4/10/15 and within 5 minutes had diagnosed 5 probable reasons the pump was not performing. He gave me an estimate that sounded reasonable. I checked with a friend of mine that does HVAC as he had looked at the pump for me previously and he was surprised at the reasonableness of the quote I was given.  I authorized the work to be done by Tom. He was here the following Tuesday, 4/14/15 and replaced the pump, brass check valve, PVC pipes & fittings and rust system rebuild with chemicals. After all this there were still problems with the system pressure. This caused additional troubleshooting and time, but Tom figured it out. I need to mention that it started raining very hard while Tom and Chris were working and Tom never stopped working throughout the storm even when I asked him to come in. It is almost impossible to find that type of work ethic in today's marketplace. Tom knew he was working on additional labor time and never stopped once to take a break, even in the pouring rain. This shows more integrity than most people exhibit. Other contractors will work slow because they have no pride in their work. This is certainly not true with Tom. Tom obviously takes pride in his work and it shows. This was the BEST experience I have ever had with any service provider I have hired. Thank you Tom. (and Chris).  You guys are THE BEST!!
