A-1 Handyman ServicesApollo and his team installed laundry room cabinets and a bath vanity for us several months ago and we were so pleased with the work they did that we hired them again to replace another vanity and add under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. They promptly completed the jobs, even though the bathroom vanity replacement required relocating some plumbing. Covenant Roofing & Construction, Inc.I saw them on Angie’s List and called for an estimate. One was scheduled and the guy came out and went on the roof and then said he will go in his car and work up some numbers. He came back 25 minutes later and asked if we can go inside and go over everything. Asked if my wife can sit in and I said no because she is in her office working. AlsoShe doesn’t get involved in this because I take care of estimates. We went in the garage and he spent 20 minutes telling me all about the company and what all they will do. The he says “unfortunately I can’t give you an estimate because someone at the office does them, and asked when he can come back and meet with my wife and I” I already told him my wife does not get involved with estimates. He also was not wearing a mask. The other companies did. Wasted my time! What company sends out an estimator who can’t write estimates?- Jack K.

We have moved a little further down the list since we are not advertising with Angie any more. But, you can see by over 80 reviews that it is worth giving us a call. I can personally say how our customers have been happy and everything that all the other companies say about themselves should be a guideline for all General Contractors.

Art and his assistant Gerald was a pleasure to work with. From first contact, Art responded back with me and provided a estimate for the work to be completed in a timely manner. Once we agreed to move forward, Art always kept me informed and let me know what was occurring on a daily bases. Art showed his professionalism through his dependability, quality of work, and his desire to make sure the work was completed to our satisfaction.. Art also showed his flexibility, as there were a few items added to the overall project and adjustments were made accordingly which did not cause a delay in the completion time for the overall project. Art actions shows he cares about the relationship he has with his customers and the overall project he is hired to do, Clearly, should I have any addition work that needs to be completed, I will have no problem contacting Art with A&M Restoration Corp. in Gainesville.

Dwight from Cornerstone Construction is the REAL deal! I am probably one of the pickiest people when it comes to contractors. I have never liked a single one, but Dwight is absolutely wonderful. They have remodeled our entire kitchen (removed our whole old kitchen and replaced it with a brand new kitchen including appliances, exhaust, backsplash, etc) - it looks perfect, which I NEVER say. I have no conflict of interest....I am tired of contractors who don't do a good job so when I found Dwight, I was ecstatic. I have used his company for the build out of my medical office and always refer our friends and family to him.
