"It was great using this company. I needed lighting in my kitchen bathrooms and fans installed in the living room and patio. I thought the guys did an excellent job and let me know about everything going on. I couldn't be more pleased about the service."

"Jeff was very patient, responsive and thorough while working on this project.  What should have been a quick and simple sink and faucet replacement turned into a project requiring multiple days to complete due to defects and poor quality in the faucet kit I had purchased to be installed.  Jeff came out on two extra visits to fix a leak which had developed because of the cheap faucet kit.  Jeff was able to modify what had been included with the kit to make it a leak-free plumbing system.  I was very happy with Jeff's commitment to make sure the job was done correctly and to full satisfaction.  It has been several months now and I still have no leaks and am very happy with the new sink and faucet.  Based on this experience, I have several more projects I plan to hire Jeff for.

"Very well. Kevin is very proficient and has a broad range of abilities for home needs. For us, he installed multiple fans, painted a tray ceiling, installed canopy lights, pendant lights, cellular shades, curtain rods and curtains; assembled bed foundations and shelving units. Everything was completed to our complete satisfaction."

"MP Renovations, I want to share with you how very, VERY happy we are with our new kitchen, thanks in no small part to your design expertise. We are still over the moon about how it came together, and we extend our great thanks to you for helping us get here. The Executive cabinets are fantastic, as is the countertop. We really couldn’t be happier with it all. Thanks again to MP Renovations, Five stars!"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Blower fans are better for preventing mold growth than dehumidifiers because they target the damaged areas and increase the rate of evaporation, which dries out the building materials. Ideally, you should run blower fans and a dehumidifier, as this will allow the fans to move dry air over your damaged building materials, drying out the space even more quickly.

Keeping dust off fans can keep them working optimally and help keep dust mites or bacteria from building up. Dust fans weekly with a duster, microfiber cloth, old pillowcase, or vacuum attachment. You can also try spraying a clean fan with a store-bought dust-repellent product or making a DIY dust-repellent with water and a small amount of liquid fabric softener mixed in.

The direction you want your ceiling fan to move in depends on the season you’re in. During summer, you want it to move counterclockwise to produce a cooling downdraft. During winter, you want it to move clockwise to circulate warm air throughout the room.

A tripped circuit breaker, broken pull chain, faulty wiring, or a bad motor or capacitor are all common causes for a fan to stop working.

The average life span of a thermoelectric fan operating seasonally is two to three years. However, the life span of a wood stove fan depends on its quality, usage, and maintenance. Regular cleaning of the blades and ensuring the fan operates within its recommended temperature range can help prolong its life span.
