"If you are looking for someone to paint your house you can go anywhere, BUT if you want your house to stand out above the rest go to CARA PVD Painting-Venetian-Decorating INC. This business and the owner work WITH you. They don't push anything on you. Jimmy will give you advice and if you pay attention you will realize that the man knows what he is talking about. I just expected to get my house painted like any other time, but this was an entirely different experience. I'm so proud of my home and the way it looks. The quality and the professionalism that created the look I never knew I could have. I cannot stress enough how experienced this company is. He will give you options and will deliver everything you need and more. Say goodbye to your search and give them a call. He will come and walk you through options and prices with no hard sell. I highly recommend. The prices are absolutely fair. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

How are we different when an appointment is made? We show up on time. We use high quality coatings that are both washable and durable. We strive to be as neat and clean as possible. Most jobs are completed within one day and we don't subcontract the work. We have worked for a variety of realtors and property management companies in Pinellas County. We strive to put enough workers on the job to complete the work in one day and keep your household routine from being disrupted. "Initial response to my quote request was quick. There was a lot of back & forth on the pricing but we were happy with $6,000 for 2,317sf. Walls, trim, doors, removal of some wallpaper. He was available quickly and the days we wanted. House was empty because we hadn't yet moved in. Said it would take a week. After 5 days Bill said it was done. At the end of the 5th day my husband and I walked through (by ourselves) and took pics of dozens of small issues and several large issues. The damaged walls were not repaired well, there were paint splatters on stone and granite surfaces, a couple of places were not painted, 4 blinds were not rehung. Bill sent William out on day 6 and by early evening he was almost done painting and no cleaning had yet been completed. What William had redone looked good. We had to leave and as of this writing on day 6 we have not yet seen the finished product. Tomorrow I'm hoping most if not all the little blue pieces of tape we put up look much, much better. Bill assures me he will come back and make everything right. P.S. When Bill told us it was done the 1st time, I asked him "Does it look good?" He replied "Absolutely looks good, horrible question lol""

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

It is less costly to paint than wallpaper when you only consider the upfront cost. Wallpaper costs $320 to $820 when applied by a pro, while paint only costs $200 to $700 per room. However, when comparing wallpaper versus paint, consider the long-term as well. Wallpaper can save you money over time since it has a much longer life span than paint.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

It’s possible to hang your own wallpaper, but the process is tedious and potentially frustrating, and it can be challenging to get seams to line up and look clean and professional. Plus, depending on the type of wallpaper you’re installing, using too much or too little adhesive could cause damage to your drywall or plaster, peeling, and bubbling in the final product. It’s usually a better idea to hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the work for you, as the relatively low cost is justifiable, if only to avoid damage to your walls.

When installing new steel doors, it’s smart to do other projects simultaneously. This can lower costs, limit mess, and help your home look and function better. For example, replacing a damaged doorframe is wise when planning door installations.

Also consider changing broken or worn-out locks, repairing or replacing weather stripping, and updating handles. Painting, staining, or upgrading the trim around the door can also improve energy efficiency, security, and aesthetics.

Many types of wallpaper exist, from removable peel-and-stick options to more permanent options that involve pasting. You can also find wallpaper that you can paint over, wallpaper with a texture, and wallpaper made from various materials, such as vinyl. Some types of wallpaper are washable, which can be a great option for kitchens or if your household has small children.
