After paying Corey, we discovered that some epoxy had gotten on the bottom of our patio post. We kept trying to reach out to Corey to come and fix the issue, but to no avail. He received his money and that was that!! After a month, he reached out and said he would come last Sunday but was a no show! Lessons learned - Never go by your feelings when hiring someone, make sure they have integrity and do not pay until you check everything out with a fine-tooth comb! I am highly disappointed in Cory because I thought he was a man of integrity and that he stood by his work! Outcome? We paid an additional 30 bucks for paint (on top of paying Corey) and will just correct it ourselves and hopefully we won't mess up the epoxy work!"

I did the project myself at first, but used the wrong thin set and the tiles (pebbles) started coming up. I wanted to do it over again myself (I’m very picky about tile placement and quality), but found I had no time to carve out to continue this project. After looking at the bare shower floor for weeks, I decided to ask Angi for a pro. Boy did I hit a home run. EMPIRE’s pro came out and got the job done the very next day, using the tile and grout I provided. They brought and used the correct thin set for shower floor installation. The pro did a very good job on placing the pebbles, his work looked much like mine when I laid it the first time. Very happy overall with the quality of work and the speed in which it was done. The price was very reasonable for the task. Will definitely use Empire again."
