"This epoxy flooring work looks truly impressive. The finish is smooth, glossy, and features a well-balanced flake design that gives it a modern and professional appearance. The surface reflects light beautifully, making the space feel brighter, cleaner, and more spacious. It’s clear that great attention to detail went into the application—there are no visible imperfections, the transitions are seamless, and the final result looks highly durable and high-quality. This type of flooring not only enhances the look of the space but also offers strength and easy maintenance. Overall, it’s a flawless job that perfectly combines functionality and style—ideal for anyone looking for a modern, long-lasting, and visually appealing floor."

"Fantastic experience! Keith has excellent customer service skills and kept me informed throughout the project. He was flexible to work around other contractors that were at the property at the same time. His crew did excellent work and helped turn my house into a home. Would definitely do business with him again."

"We hired Rick and his company to replace the tile/linoleum flooring in our house and replace it with vinyl flooring. Additionally, they removed a shower and garden tub in the master bath and replaced it with a custom walk in shower (doing all the plumbing/framing/tile and dry wall associated with it). From the start Rick was extremely professional and strait forward with all the conversations and estimates. All the estimates were clear and concise as to what would be included and what was required from each party. All of his employees were professional throughout the entire process and Rick was readily accessible throughout with any questions we had. We highly recommend Branik Construction to anyone looking for flooring or bathroom work around their house."

"Corey was very nice and when I was looking for quotes, we hired him because and there was something I liked about him One thing I have learned - NEVER pay anyone before you check everything out completely!! After paying Corey, we discovered that some epoxy had gotten on the bottom of our patio post. We kept trying to reach out to Corey to come and fix the issue, but to no avail. He received his money and that was that!! After a month, he reached out and said he would come last Sunday but was a no show! Lessons learned - Never go by your feelings when hiring someone, make sure they have integrity and do not pay until you check everything out with a fine-tooth comb! I am highly disappointed in Cory because I thought he was a man of integrity and that he stood by his work! Outcome? We paid an additional 30 bucks for paint (on top of paying Corey) and will just correct it ourselves and hopefully we won't mess up the epoxy work!"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Unlike paint, concrete stain won’t peel off. Instead, the color absorbs into the surface of this porous building material. While it doesn’t peel, the stain only penetrates the top layer of concrete, and as the top of the concrete eventually wears away, so will the stain. However, this process is much slower than paint peeling, especially on low-traffic surfaces.

In most cases, yes, sealing concrete will stop spalling. However, it’s not a perfect solution—it may only delay spalling. Call your local concrete repair contractor for quotes on the best sealing options to prevent spalling.

The amount of paint needed to cover a two-car garage floor depends on the surface area and the product's coverage rate. On average, a standard two-car garage floor measures 400 to 500 square feet. Coverage ranges from 100 to 200 square feet per gallon for epoxy paint, depending on the product and application method. After some quick math, you may need 2 to 5 gallons of epoxy paint with two coats to cover a two-car garage floor.

Concrete can take years to fully settle, but interior concrete floors are mostly settled after a year. Shifting and settling can occur throughout your home’s life, but most major settling happens the first few years after the concrete is poured. It’s not uncommon for minor cracks to appear in concrete floors over time—check with a concrete pro to ensure new cracks don’t indicate a structural issue in your home.

The lifespan of stained concrete can range from five years to a lifetime, depending on the type of stain used and how well it is maintained. Acid-based stains penetrate the concrete and can last 20 years or more, while water-based stains are less durable and may last around five years, especially on outdoor surfaces exposed to UV light and weather. To preserve the color and extend the life of the finish, stained concrete should be properly sealed and then resealed every three to five years. Factors like foot traffic, climate, and proper initial application also affect its longevity.
