Steve recently completed a remodel of two bathrooms and a kitchen for me and each space turned out better than I could have hoped, I especially love how the custom tile pattern looks in the master bathroom and all of the amazing storage space I have now. Steve and his crew did a fantastic job and all of the finishes turned out immaculate. I’m so happy with the final results!

We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Bridges Construction and couldn’t be happier with the results! The new layout, functionality, and look of our kitchen are everything we hoped for. Steve, the owner, provided an accurate estimate, maintained great communication, and kept the project on schedule with minimal disruption. His team -- especially Kyle, Brandon & James -- were professional, detail-oriented, and a pleasure to work with. We also had flooring replaced throughout most of the home by Five Star Flooring, which exceeded our expectations. Steve did an excellent job coordinating all subcontractors (electrical, plumbing and drywall contractors all highly skilled!) to keep everything moving smoothly. While no project is without a few surprises, any issues were handled promptly and professionally. Chris, the office manager, made billing and communication easy and efficient. We highly recommend Bridges Construction!

Bridges did a great job with our kitchen remodel! They came in with a fair price that is competitive with other contractors in the area. Steve quoted me 4-6 weeks duration, and they were completed at 6 weeks. It would have been done in 4 if other schedule conflicts had not got in the way. They did a great job at covering up the work area for demo which got very dusty/dirty. They used quality products and contractors to complete the kitchen and were very willing to work with whatever design decisions we came up with. I appreciate Steve's experience and being able to direct us in what is and what is not possible. Kyle did a great job at maintaining the quality of the install with all the different contractors that came to the house. One word of advice, be ready for contractors to show up at different times throughout the day and even at night (this was a bit of a surprise for us; not a big deal though). Any issue that has come up during and after the project, Steve is very flexible working with us to remedy. I appreciated the process, and we are very happy with the outcome!

The subs were cordial and fun to have around. I'm an architect who was working out of my home during the reconstruction, so prior noticing of the day to day scheduling would have been appreciated. Cabinet mis-orders/mis-shipments were expedited. I lover the result!

Two other local remodeling firms either missed their own datelines for a quote, or returned such an inflated price, that my only conclusion was that they were not interested in my business. Communication with Bridges was prompt and efficient. Whether email or phone, I received a response in less than 24 hours. While the project was underway, easy communication via text and phone with the Project Lead Carpenter. The quote was detailed and included pricing options based on materials. I found this approach very efficient and negated the need to requote the individual items. And important to us, no sense of up-selling as this was simply a "laundry room". Great design guidance from Bridges. The suggested local vendors for plumbing, paint, flooring and counter tops provided ample choices. As the project progressed, the team suggested various improvements which made perfect sense while the project was underway. Again, no sense of up-selling, but suggestions that come with experience. A great example is the ceiling lighting, the under-cabinet lighting and installation of dimmer switches. Addition input for the understair storage access resulted in a "better than expected" final result. And finally, the detailed installation of the flooring, the cabinets and finished carpentry, along with the final painting were all crisp and meticulous. The professional level of craftsmanship in this laundry room would display beautifully in any kitchen project. Overall, I would whole-heartedly encourage anyone to work with Bridges on their home remodel project. The team is a wealth of knowledge and experience. And, we also enjoyed working with a locally based business.

Bridges was fast, quality work, good communication and they worked very well with their sub-contractors. When a task was completed, the next task started right away. Very little downtime. Items were addressed before they surfaced, they anticipated where decisions by the homeowner needed to occur and we made sure to keep things rolling.

My first experience with a remodel, but not new to construction. I am so pleased I had an excellent referral on Bridges Const. to rely on. Obtained the bid, guessed it upward by a few thousand because I know myself! I went to the supply store they recommended and had a ball! I just picked out what I really liked and wanted and tallied up the excess over the allowance and decided this was likely the only remodel for that bathroom while I own the house, so went for it! And no regrets! The workmen were timely - always! In fact, I had to ask if they were ever late! I was able to be at home for most of it, but oh my the noise. When/if I do the kitchen, I will disappear during the demo stage!! However, glad I was around for the rest and the workmen were most attentive to keeping the dust down with plastic sheets hung all over, etc. Each tradesman was a professional and worked diligently during their time here. All in all, it was a tad costly, but most of that is my choices. . . . I mean, I just couldn't say no to that gorgeous $2700 medicine cabinet!! And the $1500 vanity with only 2 drawers! Life is choices and I am glad I made mine for Bridges Construction.

Kitchen and Bath Remodeling
We needed a complete kitchen renovation. Steve Bridges came to our house and gave us suggestions we hadn't even thought of. He made wonderful drawings and they got to work. Everything went smoothly. They removed a window and put in a new one over the sink. Kyle Bridges created beautiful woodwork for it that matches the existing woodwork in the kitchen!! Beautiful!! We couldn't be happier with the results. We have lots more work and we will call Bridges Construction. Steve, Chris, Monica, Kyle, John and the rest of the crew and so considerate and polite.

Bridges Construction continues to be a great general contractor. This is our second project with Bridges and despite supply chain issues and busy subcontractors, work was scheduled seamlessly. High quality work product, workers all friendly and hardworking and management transparent and consistent. Steve and team's attention to detail and thoughtful advice was most helpful throughout the project and ended up saving us money. Bridges worked carefully around our vintage teal tub and delivered a beautiful and much more functional bathroom. They moved fixtures to better suit the space and replacing all other surfaces along the way. We love it. Thank you Bridges!

Bridges is a great general contractor - superb finish on our large project, thoughtful in subcontractor selection, virtually seamless scheduling, provided helpful recommendations and planned our cabinetry addition beyond expectations. The crew is great, always felt comfortable with them and they were really respectful. Bridges was the only company that would even come out to look at what we wanted to get done. Steve was very professional from the first meeting and him and his wife, Chris, kept us updated on everything, from timeline, process, payments, deadlines, etc. We had a wall and soffett removed from our kitchen to create an open floor plan and you can barely tell there was anything ever there. We love our kitchen so much now and we’re so glad we hired them to take on the task. Highly recommend!!

Steve Bridges (of Bridges Construction) was the only one who came out to give me a bid for a job we had. Since his company did such good work on that initial project, we knew immediately that we would hire his company to do our kitchen remodel (a total gut job). Steve worked with us on the design, helped us with the cabinet selection. The team of painters, plumbers, electricians, construction was professional - courteous and hard working. His son, Kyle, was a pleasure to work with - patient with a great eye for detail. We are extremely pleased with how our kitchen turned out and we would hire Bridges Construction for any future work and would highly recommend the company to others in the Reno area.

The workers were good. I had. issues with Chris and his follow up. There were problems with the electrical wiring. The original electrician did a very poor job. I had to haggle with Chris to get someone who knew what they were doing to come in and redo. The other issue I had was with marks on the grannet countertop. It was not sealed and if they expected me to do this it was not communicated to me. I am very unhappy with how the countertop looks, 201The bottom line is that Chris would not even come and look at it. He did not do any final inspection. I guess he had a bigger job.

"I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with my work, but I think I have to clarify: The electrical was done correctly and passed by the city inspector, there were issues with the existing electrical that was inaccessible without a huge amount of demo at your expense, we try and keep costs down. Also the granite is always sealed,it's difficult to discern a natural blemish in the stone and a stain, when I left the jobsite there where no stains in the granite we installed. I'll admit I couldn't always send someone at a particular time, as the the access to the condo was limited and [Member Name Removed] wasn't always available due to health problems and I do apologize for that."

I called and did not get a response until 2 days later. He indicated that he could either come one of two days within a specified 2 hour period. He didn't know which day but he would contact me before the first of the two days to let me know. He did NOT contact me on the first of two possible days. I called both phone numbers and no one called me back. On the second day he texted at 7:30 am (I was still sleeping) to ask if he could come earlier. I called him back and told him that this would be fine. He arrived but told me on the phone that he didn't know it was a condo (I had told him this on the first phone call). He said that he didn't do small remodels. He then proceeded to provide excuses as to why he doesn't do condos. After I assuaged him about his fears, he continued to provide excuses. I don't suggest this company unless you don't like good communication or reliability.

"I apologize to [Member Name Removed] for any inconveniences I may have caused her, we return every call we receive, when I called her, I asked her if it was a house or condo and I heard her say it was a house, when I arrived and saw it was a condo I tried to explain to her why we don't do small jobs in condos. Basically we don't have enough personnel and I don't make commitments I can't keep. Apparently I misunderstood her in our phone conversation. Our company does not have an estimator, I do all the quotes, i personally supervise all my jobs, I do all the scheduling, ordering, hiring,billing and most of the design work, I do up to 10 quotes a week so consequently I have to schedule my in home quotes when I can, but I always get back to anyone who calls.The jobs I have in progress are my priority as we pride ourselves on keeping our jobs on schedule and in budget. I think my reviews speak for themselves, again I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused her. Sincerely, Steve"

We could not be happier and cannot say enough positive things about Bridges Construction. From start to finish, they showed nothing but exceptional professionalism, and the finished product is a gorgeous kitchen....and very happy clients. Steve and Chris were incredibly responsive and patient in the beginning stages, as we dove into the redesign of our kitchen, guiding us when we needed some direction and knowing how to create a plan for our vision. And boy did they deliver. From start to finish, Steve constantly updated us on what we could expect and what was scheduled for each day/week. The entire Bridges' crew, as well as the subs employed, were quick, courteous, organized, and extremely professional. And, their workmanship and attention to detail was impeccable. Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful. (I've included one "before" photo and three "after" photos).
