"It took them about 3 hours to complete the work. They did a very good job. The guy who came was very knowledgeable and experience. He arrived on time. The price was a little over $100 and I felt that was reasonable. The only downside was that they are an out-of-town company so it took 2 sessions to finally complete the job. He had to look at what they job entailed and figure out where the leak was. Then we made an appointment to have the work done."

"

Anthony called me shortly after my request for an estimate and met me at my home to discuss the job and gave me a written estimate which addressed my concerns of the removal of the shrubs and drainage.

Anthony told me he could do the job the next day and gave me a discount because he was in the area working. As promised his crew arrived a little after 8am this morning.  The hottest day of the year so far.  I received a phone call from Anthony at approximately 3pm the job was complete.  My driveway looks wonderful.  His crew were efficient and courteous.

I referred A&S Paving to my father who lives several blocks away.  He has been disappointed with his driveway that was installed several years ago and has developed cracks.  Anthony's crew went there after the completion of my job.

If Angie's list had an A+ rating A&S Paving would have received that rating from me.  100% satisfied customer.

"These guys were great!! We had a delivery of a massive new front, all in one piece, very heavy. They handled it of total care and stored it in our garage with all the very long trim pieces for installation next day. Kind of an unusual item to deliver so was concerned about the glass, scratching, damage. Again, 5-star handling and very pleased!!"

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

There's a long list of benefits of adding a storm door to your home, making the minimal cost, difficulty, and time commitment of installation well worth it. It protects your home from rain, wind, and show, improves your energy efficiency, allows you to save money on electric bills, offers great ventilation, and deters break-ins.

The average cost to install a door is around $1,100, but you could pay anywhere from $150 for a hollow-core interior door installation up to $2,000 or a high-end exterior door installation. There are a few cost factors to consider to get an accurate price, including whether your wall opening exists, the type of door, the quality and security of the door, whether you need to replace the frame, and the door size. You can expect to pay $150 to $700 for a standard 36-by-80-inch door and between $400 and $1,600 for an 80-by-48-inch door.

If you’re replacing an interior door, it’s best to get the work done in the summer or winter, as door installation professionals are the least busy during these seasons and might charge lower labor costs based on the decreased demand. You can also potentially save money by hiring a professional to install your exterior door during these seasons, but most homeowners wait until the spring or fall so that the extreme temperatures don’t put added strain on their HVAC systems while the door is being added or replaced.

A screen door needs at least two hinges, though most have three or four hinges. The amount of hinges depends on the weight and size of the door. The heavier your door, the more hinges it will need for support. Exterior doors, which are sturdier than interior doors, have the most hinges.

Storm door panels are typically made from tempered or laminated glass, and each type has its benefits. Tempered glass goes through a special heating and cooling process, increasing its strength and durability. It’s known for its safety features—when it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards. Laminated glass is made by sandwiching a layer of plastic between two layers of glass. This interlayer holds the glass pieces together even when shattered, preventing them from scattering.
