"They came to give me an estimate at the exact time they said they would. They arrived to do the work exactly on time. The work was done quickly and no mess left behind.. My kitchen tile and grout look brand new. And they left me with the proper cleaner to keep it looking new. I could not have been more pleased."

"I normally do all renovations on my own for cost & OCD reasons, but had to hire out a few jobs as a moving deadline was coming up. If I had known about Vacslav years ago, I would have hired all my tile jobs out to him. I'm happy when I get tile cuts to ~1/16", but Vacslav's were to about 1/32"...in other words, the quality was better than I expected (he worked every last detail), in about half the time it would have taken me, and at a fair price. Additionally, Vacslav was a pleasure to work with - he was very responsive (really unusual in our area), always on time, worked full days, and understood exactly what I wanted...couldn't be happier with the process & outcome"

"They are the best house cleaners we have ever had in 49 years of marriage. They cleaned places I never would have thought to go. Everything shines, is spotless and organized. They even folded bed linens we had thrown in a chair as we gave the bed away. I was not expecting that. I was going to do it later. I really cannot say enough as to how clean the house is. They even moved furniture so they could clean behind it!! On a scale of 1-5 I give them a 10!!!!! Just spectacular. Also, they are extremely polite and very nice. Loved having them. Cost was extremely reasonable. My house has never been so clean!!!!!!"

"Everything went smoothly. We were on a time crunch, and had to change the installation date to the weekend. Austin was our guy and he was always on top of things and was in contact with us. They didn’t have the transition pieces available on the dates the installers showed up but he said it was not a problem for them to do the flooring first, and transitions a couple days later. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal but we live in a rural area, far away from their company so it’s a pain to get out here! The flooring looks and feels awesome. I don’t remember what it’s called but it’s an innovative, durable, lifetime guaranteed type of flooring. Most expensive, but worth the price since we have 2 dogs and 2 cats."

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Caulk and grout are two different materials with different purposes and should not be used interchangeably. Grout is used to fill the gaps between tiles; it hardens to keep them sturdy and in place on walls or floors. Caulk, on the other hand, is a flexible, waterproof material used to seal corners, cracks, and edges, such as where a tub meets tile or around windows for weatherproofing. Caulk can also be used to temporarily repair damaged grout.

In order to grout the tiles, the grout is spread across the entire surface and then wiped off. It is possible to prevent grout haze to a certain extent by thoroughly wiping the excess grout off of the tiles during installation. Often, professional tile installers can avoid grout haze during the grout process.

You can test whether your grout needs to be sealed with a water droplet test. If water beads up on the grout’s surface, it’s likely been sealed (or might not need to be). On the other hand, if the water gets absorbed or causes the grout to darken, then it’s time for a fresh grout sealing.

Yes. While you can clean every room in your home with vinegar and baking soda, you should not use them on marble floors. Vinegar is too acidic, and baking soda is too alkaline; both of them can lead to etching on your marble. A pH-neutral cleaner is your best bet to clean marble floors.

The easiest way to tell if your grout requires sealing is to look at it. If it looks dirtier than normal or the grout gets dark when wet, chances are the seal has broken, and resealing is necessary.
