"These guys came out like a  - S.W.A.T. team. One  guy or gal  went to the attic, another went to the roof, another started undoing electrical outlets and another started testing inside for mold. As an employee  finished a task,  he / she took samples to a  large "Laboratory on wheels" which was parked in front of the home -  for additional testing.

I could not be more pleased!

They have an A+ rating from the BBB."

"Mr. Rohan Khan was by far the most professional and impressive contractor to estimate for this endeavor, and I felt innately confident in his abilities to execute the work required, to an exacting level. He did not disappoint! He and his team were very punctual, professional and tidy at all times with an excellent communication flow. I would, without question, hire MR. Khan and his team again should the need arise."

Radon Detection and Reduction questions, answered by experts

The average radon mitigation system uses about 876 kWh of electricity per year, although the exact amount of electricity used will vary depending on the size of the radon fan. Once the system is installed, the annual increase to your energy bill could range from $30 to $300 per year, again depending on the size of the fan.

Mitigation reduces radon levels, protecting your health and complying with safety standards.

Radon enters your home when warm air begins to rise and exits through the roof, creating a vacuum that pulls cooler air from under the foundation. Part of that air is radon, which is an invisible, odorless gas that develops naturally when radioactive particles are deep within the ground. Those particles usually come from decaying matter in soil and rocks.

You'll need to test your home for radon after installing the mitigation system, then again every two years. If radon remains elevated, contact a licensed radon professional, either the contractor who installed the system or a different one, and have them evaluate the system. They may need to make some changes to improve its effectiveness and performance.

Installation typically takes 1-2 days, depending on the system and property layout.
