He had the part in his van to fix the fan unit outside. Installed it in a short time. I was very happy with his work and professional way he handled himself. "Geoff and his son Keegan were very personable, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable He walked us through the process first then patiently walked us through the operation of the new thermostat. He also installed the app for us on our iPhones, iPad and lap top and walked us through accessing it He also introduced himself to our Home Watcher Our Home Watcher was very impressed and noted that that was never done before. ð   ð   ð   ð   ð   ð   My wife and I are very satisfied with GM"

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

Carpet beetles don’t seek shelter in mattresses like bed bugs do, but there still may be sources of food, like the fabric of your sheets and blankets, that attract carpet beetles. Because these pests munch on plant-based materials, you could still find one in your bed as it’s searching for food.

No, ground bees are not detrimental to the health of your lawn. In fact, the small holes created by ground bees can actually offer beneficial aeration which moisturizes and nourishes the ground. Additionally, ground bees are highly regarded as vital pollinators, meaning they help plants to reproduce. Unless you’re battling a severe infestation, leaving ground bees undisturbed can boost the health of your yard and the environment.

If you’ve had a prior bat infestation or simply want to avoid having bats invade your home in the first place, there are a few steps you can take without the need for a pro.

  • Seal entry points, such as where your chimney meets your house, or other gaps or holes exist.

  • Use bat deterrents like bright lights or ultrasonic devices to force them away from your home.

  • Reduce bat attractions like standing water and bird nectar feeders inviting bats into your yard.

Our experts prioritize safe, family-friendly treatments, minimizing risks while managing pests effectively.

Woodpeckers may seek out homes with aluminum siding or tin roofs because these surfaces echo their drumming. Homes with wood siding are more frequently targeted as roosting areas or for food sources. If you have insects living in the exposed wood in your home, the birds are likely looking for a snack, in which case your best option is to hire an exterminator.
