"I contacted them through angi to come and drain, clean, refil and close my pool. The pool was drained and somewhat cleaned but it was still large dirt circles on the bottom of the pool with leaves everywhere. When I contacted him about the fact that the pool was not clean he basically said I did my job im done. I would NEVER recommend this company to any one, they are incredibly unprofessional and didn't provide an invoice or receipt. Overall horrible experience, I'd recommend you look elsewhere. "

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Erik from First State Ponds, and I can't recommend him enough. Erik traveled all the way from Delaware to Maryland to service my pond, which was having persistent issues with murky water. Before connecting with Erik, I had already been advised by another company to purchase a specific filter and pump. Thankfully, I found First State Ponds just in time. Erik took the time to explain that while the recommended filter might clear my water, it would require constant maintenance. He suggested a different filter and a stronger pump, but he was also willing to install the one I had already purchased if I preferred. High-quality, maintained tubs can last decades, while low-quality, poorly maintained tubs may not hit five years. A good warranty, professional installation, quality materials, and proper maintenance will help a tub last longer.

How often you change the water in your swim spa depends on how often you use it. Most manufacturers recommend changing the water every three to six months. If you use your swim spa throughout the seasons, it’s a good idea to set up a quarterly deep cleaning schedule. The ideal instructions should be in the owner’s manual.

Hot tub repairs cost between $200 and $500 on average. You can minimize those costs by maintaining your hot tub and keeping necessary supplies on hand. An elevated shelf in the garage is a great place to store your water care chemicals so that kids and pets will stay safe and you’ll always have them around. 

Your hot tub should be drained of existing water, cleaned, and refilled every three to four months at a minimum.
