"I was impressed with Clean Power Wash from my first conversation on the phone with the owner Rob Anderson. Rob made an appointment for his employee Greg to come over to my house to assess the power washing job on my 3 story cedar shake home. Gregg was very professional and discussed having to use a lift on my house because if itâ s height. Also he informed me that none of my spring plant buds that were peeking up would be stepped on & also a board would be used under the lift equipment so no tire tracks would be left on my lawn. When the crew of 4 men showed up on schedule they were professionally dressed in their uniforms which were waterproof jackets that not only had the company logo on the back, but the main theme was our MD state flag. These 4 guys continuously worked diligently with a smile on their faces. I had a good feeling that they all enjoyed their job. I am very impressed with the fine job that Clean Power Wash on my home. Holiday Decorating FAQs, answered by experts

First of all, don’t shop for bargain lights—often, you’ll end up with a faulty or broken strand, full of dead bulbs or less-than-luminous brightness. Choose quality lights that will last you many years—LED lights have been known to last as long as 100,000 hours. Second, plan ahead and purchase lights for next year’s Christmas during this year’s post-holiday sales. Finally, have a vision and a plan—if you know the measurements of your home, including any windows, doors, and outside bushes you wish to light up, you should be able to only purchase the necessary lights and not more than you need.

Decorating a tree yourself will only take between one and two hours, but a professional designer may take more time to create their vision. When hiring a pro, assume the work will take a minimum of three to four hours.

The cost to have your house decorated for Christmas depends on the extent of your holiday vision. Interior decorators charge between $50 and $150 per hour on average, so if your decorations are minimal, you could pay as little as $200 for a couple of hours of decorating. Interior decorators might also bill $5 to $12 per square foot, or a flat rate of $500 to $1,300 per room. You can also pay to have your Christmas tree professionally decorated for an average of $200 to $600. Contact a local interior decorator for a specific quote.

It’s unnecessary to tip holiday decorators, and most professionals won’t expect it, but it’s a nice gesture to show your appreciation for their work. If the expert goes above and beyond to keep your delicate decorations safe, or they’re hanging your exterior lights and putting out lawn decorations in freezing temperatures or inclement weather, a tip between 10% and 20% of your total will be appreciated. Large jobs that include interior and exterior work are also good opportunities to tip, especially if your expert is performing a rush job close to the holidays.

Cold weather can cause older incandescent Christmas lights to fail by causing cracks in the finish or the glass itself. Modern LED lights are affected in the opposite way and perform even better as the temperature drops.
