"This company took my money and did not do the work properly. My roof has been leaking since the time they did the work. Now I find out that they never removed all of the old roof, did not do any flashing and they did all lot of patch work. It's been a nightmare. And now they are out of business."

"It went fairly well. Anyone getting a roof replaced should expect that it is a messy, loud job with lots of old tile and nails as garbage. Roof was large, complex and leaking. Roofers ripped up old tiles and rails and threw them over the closest roof line. They cleaned up each night as best as they could. New roof went on and was properly done with underlayment, waterproofing, ridge caps, GAF HDZ tiles. Other than finding the odd nail here and there, I have no complaints. Took about a week due to rain, otherwise probably 4-5 days."

"Excellent service. Lou Diaz contacted me immediately and came out the same day. I have a one story house with a lot of roof and gutters area. His quote was very detailed and included all the important things; remove old roof, replace damaged decking, ice dam protection, drip edges, superior chimney flashing and top quality vent stack boots. The gutters and downspouts were larger to handle the greater water volume of my 4800 sq. ft. roof and included leaf guards. His price was very competitive and He was able to start in two days. The roof was done in one day and the gutters in half a day. After years of fighting with unreliable contractors, dealing with Portela Home Business was a great experience. I highly recommend them."
