"We needed our master bathroom floor tiled and wanted large tiles used . Fran was the only guy to come and take a look at the job and chat with us about the job. It allowed us to put a face with a name and discuss the project and what we wanted and what was the best way to accomplish it . Fran and his associate James were kind , professional and hard working. They did a great job and I will definitely be hiring them again for my other bathroom that needs a lot more TLC. Fran also gave a very competitive price that wound up also being the best quote we got.

"Easy process from quote to work complete. The crew worked on a few small projects -- fixed a damaged wall, repaired flooring, and installed a new toilet."
"I've got a 112 year old hose that is pretty solid, but it had a cracked floor joist and part of the flooring wasn't properly supported. I hired Kristian and his team to install a couple of lally columns to support a carrying beam and sister a couple of floor joists. Many contractors wouldn't even return my call because I wasn't looking to complete a huge remodel job, but Kristian came over, gave me a fair verbal estimate on the spot, and worked with me on timing to complete the project. Not only that, but the solution wasn't overly complicated. The job was straightforward, completed exactly as described in the time described, and there was no scope creep. If I ever have a larger need, they'll certainly be my first call. I would highly recommend K&X construction if you need any services that they offer."
"Nixon and his crew did a fantastic job, very professional and very flexible with payments. His knowledge in different areas for your home needs. I will be utilizing them again in the future for all my home projects and repairs."
"George and Ron did a great job on our bathroom! Each day they were here, they left the house spotless, not even leaving a single footprint. George took great care to communicate pricing and was extremely fair. I am very happy with the work they did!"
"We ran into a time crunch when renovating our kitchen and need professional help installing our tile floor. JFJ came to the rescue. He was able to squeeze us in in a very short time and did a fantastic job. He was clean, orderly and provided good quality workmanship. His quote was also very reasonable. We highly recommend this company to anyone and will use them again on future projects."
"Plow and Property has completed several projects for us on a very old and neglected rental property and we are so glad we found them. The first job was a vacant house clean out. The house was left in truly appalling condition. The cleaning crew worked and worked and worked so hard and so long I was telling them to stop. They made a filthy house fresh and pleasant again. I would not have thought it could be restored to such a fresh condition. The next job was replacing the old casement windows which were rotted wood frames in crumbly 1950â s cement. They not only repaired the window foundation area but other foundation ugly spots as well and put in beautiful new sturdy basement sliding windows. They also re-dug and replaced the adjoining window wells which were undoubtedly the original wells and were falling apart. Regraded the foundation area around the wells and reseeded without being asked. While they were in the basement doing the windows they cleaned a bunch of that up too so itâ s no longer a horror movie waiting to be filmed down there. Everything they did was simply above and beyond. Wesley Vercosa has returned my many questions and concerns with lots of information and smiles, bless him. My retired husband worked in construction for many years and he is happy and impressed with the work. We are planning more work with them already."
"Eldi was quick to respond and within a week we had our new backsplash up. It was beautifully installed and we are very pleased with the work. I would recommend him to anyone that needs tile installation."

Installing kitchen countertop tiles on a mold and moisture-resistant cement backer board is one of the best options. When fitted correctly on top of a plywood base, it’s stable and long-lasting. Old-fashioned cement board is economical, cuts neatly and easily with a circular or jigsaw, and screws into plywood without any difficulty.
Penny tile should be sealed to protect the grout from moisture and keep stains from damaging the look of the tile. If penny tile is in a humid or high-traffic area, like a bathroom, kitchen, or entryway, it needs sealant. Any type of tile and grout is best maintained with a sealant reapplied by a pro every one to two years.
Ideally, you should remove tile before installing hardwood floors, but there are good reasons not to. Removing stubborn tile can be a labor-intensive job that adds days to the project. The subfloor beneath the tiles could also be damaged during the process, meaning you’d have to repair the subfloor before installing the new hardwood floor.
You can use sanded or unsanded grout for a shower pan, but sanded grout isn’t the best option for shower walls. For those areas, you’ll want to use unsanded grout, which works well on vertical surfaces and is less likely to slump than sanded grout. Alternatively, you can use epoxy grout for shower walls.
