"Amazing. By far the best of the 4-5 services we have bought from Angies' list. There was good communications via email before Solomon came out and visited us. The counter-tep was changed and backsplash was installed on the scheduled date. No fuss. No drama. An absolute delight!"

"Absolutely beautiful. Karol and his team were very professional. Brought the design to real life. Very punctual and committed. Impressive finishing and always helped us with ideas . Always provided us valuable suggestions and went over his duty to find the right materials for us. We loved their work and without doubt would absolutely ask him for any work we need done for our home."

"I cannot say enough good things about this company.  From start to finish they were so professional, prompt and thorough.  My salesman Rick, support staff at the office, builders Rob and Mike, the countertop installers from Custom Marble, Shawn and Sean from Tile Works, and the guy who came out to do the blueprint, were all a pleasure to deal with.  These people are all tops in their fields of expertise. The kitchen looks beautiful and like it was custom built.  Noboody can believe my cabinets were refaced.  It looks like a totally new kitchen.
I actually met with Rick and picked out the cabinets I thought I wanted, along with the hardware; then ended up calling the company and asking him to come out with more samples, then went with a totally different choice.  Nobody was put out or annoyed; just wonderfully supportive and accommodating.
The manufacturer of the cabinet doors had actually drilled the bottom hole in the wrong spot on ten of the doors, but Rob and Mike installed them as is so that I could have a functioning kitchen, but had the office order all new ones from the manufacturer.  They were all replaced today in a couple of hours.
In terms of the cost, I wasn't sure what to expect.  I know if I replaced all the cabinet boxes, it would have taken more than twice as long and been at least twice as costly.  I think the price was very fair and reasonable and I absolutley love my new kitchen!  I'm so happy I chose Kitchen Options and have been telling everyone what a good company they are.
Thanks again to everyone at Kitchen Options!

"Great. Tyler was very professional, did an excellent job caulking the whole exterior of my house and my apartment building. Fixed the leaks around the chimney, and installed drip edge on the apartment roof. Very reasonable rates, and cleaned up all the work areas. I had him come back and stain my 3 decks, he is very efficient and does a great job. I will definitely use his company again for any projects I have coming up."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Yes, Corian® and other solid surface materials can be cut with standard woodworking tools, such as a circular saw or a jigsaw. However, it is crucial to use the correct type of blade to avoid damaging the material.

For a circular saw, a tungsten carbide-tipped blade is required; a triple chip grind blade is highly recommended. For a jigsaw, you should use a fine-tooth down-cutting blade. Do not use blades designed for cutting wood, as they can cause microfractures that weaken the edges of the countertop. A diamond blade is also unnecessary, as those are designed for harder materials like natural stone, which Corian is not.

After cutting, the edge will be rough. It is essential to sand and smooth the cut edge to prevent microfractures, which can eventually compromise the integrity of the countertop.

Rock salt and ice melts contain sodium chloride, aka salt, and are corrosive to metal and concrete. If used frequently over time, it can cause corrosion, discoloration, chipping, and cracking to patios, walkways, and driveways. You can try a rock salt alternative or hire a professional snow removal company instead.

Standing water can lead to surface discoloration if your granite countertops are improperly sealed. However, it’s possible to remove hard water stains with a baking soda paste. Take more care with acidic liquids, such as fruit juice or red wine, which can leave more permanent stains. That’s why it’s so important to reseal these surfaces regularly.

Onyx countertops have pros and cons. If you seal it properly and take care not to damage it, it can make a good countertop surface. However, it's more often used in bathrooms, where it’s less likely to sustain damage. Having an onyx kitchen countertop is possible, but you’ll need to take extra care not to burn, stain, or otherwise damage the material.

Rubbing alcohol won’t damage most countertops, and you can mix it with water to create a disinfecting spray to keep your kitchen clean. It’s safer than using bleach on countertops, which can stain and cause discoloration. Be careful with rubbing alcohol when it comes to lacquered or varnished surfaces, though.
