Father and Son Masonry

Mr. Pasholli proved to be the highly competent craftsman we were looking for in the repair of our very nice stone wall, built by a master stonemason in the 50's. He provided quality work at a reasonable price, and followed through on everything as discussed. Highly recommend him based on our experience.

They gave me an estimate and were here about a week later. They were very fast and had it done in half a day when other companies told me it would take at least a full day if not a few days. The steps came out beautifully and were reasonable priced. Will definitely hire again.

Went great. Thought the price was a little high comparatively, but they got good ratings on Angie's List, so we went with them. After completion, there was a problem with drainage due to an outdoor shower. Called Drini and he actually came out the next day. He devised a way to correct the issue and did all the work with no added cost to us. He is really a man who stands by his work and takes pride in his work. Would highly recommend him.

Mason removed old grout where needed then filled spaces between rocks with cement/motar mixture. Mason had to take into consideration the tide schedule while working at the job site.

I called him on a Sunday morning to schedule an estimate, he was at my house within an hour of the call. He gave me what I considered a fair estimate so I scheduled the work. He performed the work when he said he would which I appreciated because I had scheduled to have a new driveway installed a few days after. The work was better than I anticipated. The clean up was excellent. I would recommend / use this contractor again.

This is a utility cellar in an old house, it is not used for any other purpose. My husband and I vacuumed the walls and took down the cobwebs before Drini came to do the work--a one day re-pointing job. We had a total of three estimates, all contractors, including Drini, told us it was a small job, one day. We chose Father and Son because his price was half of the next lowest bid.
He arrived on time for both the estimate and the work. He was pleasant, efficient and very good. He scraped down the walls with a wire brush to remove the lose mortar, dug out larger pieces and refilled them. Very straightforward. The work was excellent--all the lines were clean and straight. He cleaned up after themselves and left.
He estimated that the work would take 8 hours; it took 7. 
I would use him again.

The contractor arrived within a couple of hours of the time I called to request an estimate.  He looked over the work, explained that it would take two men one full day and gave me a price.  He was on the job a week later, finished on time and on price and cleaned up his work area.  I would definitely use him again.

Masonry work that was done incorrectly before we bought the house had failed:  the stucco was falling off the chimneys, and the slates had popped off the stoops.  They removed all the old paint and stucco, attached heavy wire mesh, and applied several coats of new stucco.  A large shrub was planted too close to one of the chimneys; when they saw that I regretted having to cut it down, they dug it up,  asked where I wanted it, and replanted it for me.  When they were rebuilding one of the stoops, I mentioned that I would ask them back at a later date to create a ramp to make access easier for my husband.  They immediately reconfigured the stoop and built a ramp using a piece of stone from the chimney cover they had replaced.  They went well above and beyond and charged nothing extra for this additional work.  They were determined to do the job right and exactly as I wanted, and their finished work looks great.  They are excellent old-world craftsmen who carefully consider every detail, and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Superbly. I originally called in March 2010 to get a quote. They came that same day. I was given a quote for both repairing the existing chimney & rebuilding it. Quote was quite good & no others came close to it. I immediately felt a "warm fuzzy" from the man as an "old" world artesian. I continued interviewing contractors through the summer and their quotes were doubled + from Father & Son. In August I contacted Father & Son to make sure their original quote was still good. He came out again & upped his quote by a $1,000. We agreed to have the work done. He estimated the work to take 7 days but completed the job in six. Very professional. Promptly arrived to work each day. Worked industriously and cleaned up after themselves. Very pleased & impressed with the final product. Highly recommended.
