"Steve Christmas and his assistant arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected.  They were friendly and professional.  They were able to diagnose and fix a wiring problem with an outdoor lantern that had not worked since we moved into the house.  They also installed a new light fixture indoors and replaced the switch that controls the fixture.

"Bob Reicher came to my house,  took measurements and then went with me
to Loew's to choose the right door on a Saturday afternoon and he then
picked up the door  on Monday, November 11th, a holiday, and he and his
employee installed the sliding glass door all in one day.  He is exceptionally
accurate and neat in his work.
The building is 30 years old and I know it took my neighbor 2 days to install their door due to an improper fitting.; however Bob
had no problems fitting my door.  It fit perfectly the first time and they completed the job in less than 6 hours, because he took accurate measurements beforehand. He knew exactly what he was doing.
He had one worker with him and both were precise, polite, and professional.
Several years ago Mr. Reicher also put on my back deck.  And then too he took  accurate measurements and was the only contractor to submit a precise drawing to the Condo Assoicatiion and the Building Inspector.
I would highly recommend Bob Reicher for any construction project he chooses.

"Jim called and arranged a time to arrive and do the job. He arrived at the exact time. Explained what had to be performed and accomplished the task within the estimated time he gave. Afterwards he explained the details of operation of the sensor lights. He acted in a very professional manner and did not waste time in getting the job done. He is very highly recommended and we told him we would use him again when needed. T. A. Koch"

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Incandescent lights are glass bulbs with metallic filaments inside, while LEDs feature “light emitting diodes” that illuminate when they come in contact with an electrical current. You can buy either for your Christmas lights, but note that LED lights are more energy-efficient and have a longer lifespan.

Yes, it is possible to hang a chandelier without wiring, but it depends on the design of both the chandelier and your ceiling. Many homeowners use plug-in pendant lights, adhesive hook and cord pendants, or nonelectrical light sources to hang a chandelier without wiring.

Security lights perform the best when placed in entry points like garages, front doors, porches, and backdoors. Landscaping lighting like pathway lamps will also make it more difficult to conceal themselves on their way to your home, increasing the likelihood that you or a neighbor will spot them before they arrive.

You can install a ceiling light fixture using a similar process to the one described in this guide. Ceiling lights can have added difficulty because of their location. Working on a ladder with your head tipped back and your arms in the air isn't ideal, but with big projects come big rewards.

A wafer light lasts about 30,000 to 50,000 hours, depending on the quality and usage. Doing the math translates to approximately 10 to 20 years of regular use. LED wafer lights are known for their energy efficiency and longevity, significantly outlasting traditional incandescent or fluorescent bulbs.

Factors such as usage patterns, operating environment, and stability and consistency of the electrical supply influence their life span. Regular use in a residential setting ensures these lights provide long-term, reliable illumination with minimal maintenance.
