"The owner came with his 4-person crew, and once they estimated the job, and we agreed on a price, they set straight to work. Two crew members worked cleaning the interior windows, and two worked on the exterior and deck. We have a LOT of windows, so it was a big job. Overall the windows look great and the deck looks fantastic. Because, this operation does come with staff, compared to some of the 1-2 person operations out there, there prices are bit higher, but they do very good work, quickly. Overall, very pleased with the job they performed.show more

"Dirk was the first contractor to call us back, to look at the job, and to quote on it. He was also the only contractor who offered to cover everything we have stored up in our entire attic with huge sheets of plastic before the job and then clean it up after. From the inside, other than the fresh plywood, you couldn't tell there had been so much demo work. Dirk is that meticulous and crazy about quality. Everything has to be “just so.” You pay a little more for that, but the peace of mind is worth it. For example, he removed our cupola and weathervane, brought it home, rebuilt and painted it, and reinstalled it. Dirk has a degree in engineering, but decided early in life he needed to apply that knowledge by working with his hands and not in an office. He’s a talkative guy, and came across to us as genuine and caring. We would use him again.show more

"Adriano and his crew did a magnificent job power washing and restaining my house, and his carpenter (Diago?) did a fantastic job of replacing lots of rotten wood on my deck, fixing broken lattices, and shoring up the deck's attachment to a pillar. The house exterior and deck hadn't been stained or cleaned in such a long time, there was barely any old stain left, so they were working from scratch. They also left my property in immaculate condition. All this with much courtesy and good humor. They worked on our home like it was their own. I can't recommend them enough. "i could not be more pleased with Jim Charter and his crew. Lou the foreman was very attentive to details, and all the Owners here were very pleased with his professional and courteous work. As in many Condo Association there are picky owners, and here they were all pleased with the results. No complaints, and that is a victory. The project started last fall with one building done and the other 2 buildings to follow in the spring of 2020, With the Social Distancing in play, the owners having there front and back doors painted, with minimal intrusion on there units inside was very appreciated and required. There were here for about 5 weeks to complete two buildings. There were about 170 windows 20 doors and 3 two story main entrances. The clean up was great. Charter was not the lowest estimate, but I had a good felling talking to Jim Charter during the estimate process. I felt his company was the right fit for the project. And his workers have been with him for years. There was also carpentry work required replacing rotten wood, which Jim has a carpenter to do that part of the work. One stop shopping.
