Mark called back right away and was able to stop in the next day. He actually arrived a little early. He finished the work quickly (under 30 minutes, I think) and left me with some good advice for longer term maintenance.

Excellent! Mark completed the job in about fifteen minutes. He corrected my screw-up and the faucet works fine. Mark is very friendly and down to earth. His work is always excellent. He is by far the best plumber I have ever dealt with. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mark has become my go-to plumber for everything. Most important is that he does the work well, because I want those plumbing connections to last for decades. (I'm sure everyone feels this way, but most reviewers can only judge how well a contractor cleans up afterwards, which is not important in the long run.) I also appreciate his ability to squeeze a task into his schedule without a long wait, and his affordable prices. ------------------------ Some reviews comment on Mark (and of course many other contractors) showing up late for a job sometimes. The only contractor who you can count on showing up on time is the one who has no other job before yours that day. Unless you took the first slot of the day, that empty schedule means the contractor isn't very busy, which often means the contractor doesn't do good work or is just starting out on his/her own. That's because construction work is full of surprises, typically unpleasant ones that make jobs take longer than they should. Scheduling defensively wastes the contractor's time and makes the average customer wait longer for service. The result is that contractors, like doctors, often aren't ready at the scheduled time. If you want to maximize the chance of a contractor showing up on time, choose a day where you will be their first customer. (Though recognize that like a doctor's office, even then an emergency could pull them away.) As a customer, I don't mind waiting for a contractor, because I understand about the surprises, because the quality of work matters most to me, and because my schedule at home is flexible.

As in the previous time Mr. Stawski did work for us, the work was done quickly and correctly.

They're phenomenal. If you got a plus, put it on them. I've used them 5 times. Their price was phenomenal. He was always here when he said he was going to be here. He was very professional.

Mark returned my call and came out to give me an estimate in a timely manner. His estimate was fair. He scheduled the install for the same week and arrived on time and completed the job in two hours or so. He was neat and efficient. i would recommend him without reservation.

Mark's work is thorough and looks great, and he left behind a clean work space. Mark returned all communications in a timely manner, and he stuck to his original estimate, an estimate that was extremely reasonable. We especially appreciate this kind of professionalism as we have had a lot done in our old house recently, and it has not always been a positive experience. We are very pleased and will be calling on Mark Stawski for future work (gas stove installation is next). Highly recommend.
