"Very well. He was able to come out within a day, checked out the roof where it was leaking. He caulked around the roof vents and was done with a half of an hour. We wanted to get this done before serious spring rains started. We would definitely hire him again."

"Fantastic! Dave Brodowski and his crew were professional and friendly. They worked long hours to get the work done. Dave and his crew removed the old shingles, placed a coating on the bare roof, and put down new shingles. They cleaned up multiple times each day. They used a remote cart with an extendable slide. Dave let us know about any issues with the bare roof. The new roof looks fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone."

"It was okay. It didn't cost more than the "Big Deal" I purchased. His ladder fell to our screened porch. They did fix it but the guy had a real attitude about it. They left all their debris and I didn't like that. They could have been a little more courteous to my wife. They could have cleaned up after themselves. The gutters didn't clog up when it rained. I used them a year before and I had to call them back because they didn't do a downspout. I didn't have a problem with that this time."

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

When it comes to deciding whether a two-stage or three-stage snow blower is better, you must consider the amount of snowfall you get, the size of the area, and your budget.

A three-stage snow blower is more efficient at clearing higher volumes of snow quicker and removing ice build-up. It’s ideal for commercial use and removing snow from large areas. Make sure to compare various types of snow removal equipment to ensure you purchase the one that is best for your needs.

The average cost for a single snow removal service is around $85, but can range from $40 to $200. For excessive snowfall, the price could be $500 or more, as single services are often based on the amount of snow, with every six inches adding to the total. For ongoing service, an annual snow removal contract typically costs between $200 and $600 for the season. In many cases, an annual contract is more affordable than paying per visit. The final cost is heavily influenced by your location, the amount of snowfall your area receives, property size, seasonal demand, expected response time, and any extra services like clearing a sidewalk.

Ice dam removal costs anywhere from $650 to $2,000, with most people paying about $1,200 for this service. The price you pay will depend on a few factors, including the removal method. If your pro uses salt or tablets to get rid of the ice dams, you might only pay $200 to $300. But if they use steam, your costs could increase to $800 to $1,200.

That depends on the size of your snow blower and how efficiently it uses fuel. Most snow blowers will last between 1 and 2 hours on a full tank of gas. Larger blowers tend to use fuel more quickly and need refilling more often.

Keep in mind, the average snow blowing project for a home driveway takes around 30 minutes. Large driveways and yards will take around an hour. A full tank of gas should be more than enough for snow removal, although the height of the snowfall will have an effect, too.

DIY snow removal is entirely free, except for the cost of a shovel. However, it may not always be the best option for large driveways and areas with heavy snowfall; it’s strenuous work and can take a long time. Other wallet-friendly ways to remove snow include rock salt, hot water, a de-icing agent, or a leaf blower.
