- A-Team Plumbing and Drain LLCI have been helping my elderly parents who live in Milford. They had numerous plumbing problems that had not been addressed over many years. I called A-Team Plumbing and they amazed me!! They were friendly, quick to respond, and they did an EXCELLENT job. In the second floor bathroom, they discovered the problem was old iron drain pipe clogged by corrosion. They carefully removed the floor and installed PVC replacing the old pipe. Price was very reasonable. They then installed a new toilet in the half-bathroom on the first floor, replaced the galvanized pipes under the kitchen floor, and tied the deep sink in the laundry room into the sewer (previously draining into a dry well). The crew was friendly, polite, and VERY hard workers. They are the only plumbers I would hire. Excellent job A-Team

The consulting cost seemed like a lot initially, but considering the amount you’ll save in the long run and peace of mind knowing you’re paying a fair price - it pays for itself. I initially got a quote for double the price it’d actually cost, and Ted helped me understand that. He even gave me DIY costs for parts we could do ourselves if desired! It’s obvious his knowledge is from many years of experience. He gave us so much information in a clear and concise way - about drainage, landscaping, masonry options, even to the tiniest detail like a pin p**** mold spot on my house and what the cause was. We finally decided enough was enough and went looking for drainage experts. We found TJB, and we're glad we did. Ted was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. He recommended installing a system of underground drains and grading the yard so water would be directed away from the house. As others have noted, he sent us a variety of literature describing the techniques he was going to use. As an arborist, he also helped us figure out which of our trees needed to be removed. (TJB doesn't do tree work.) One thing I always watch for is how much the boss trusts his crew. Ted and his son were confident enough not to micromanage their employees. - Basement Solutions LLCI strongly recommend Basement Solutions for your basement needs! Bill worked on my basement on June 8, 2021. I'm writing this review on August 28, 2021 (about 3 months later). I contacted (Basement Solutions) after having had estimates and plans of actions from 4 other companies. I checked reviews, compared different solutions that were offered, and chose Bill. His plans sounded more convincing, and he promised me a dry basement with warranty. His crew did an excellent work. They all came on time, protected other parts of my house with plastics, and did the interior French drain as promised. They also cleaned my walls and prepped them for painting. After the first heavy rain, I noticed water sipping in from a drain pipe and informed Bill. On July 12, Bill sent his crew fix the drain issue. His crew also installed underground drain pipe to discharge water from the back gutters to an area in the front yard. He told me it was a $1500 job, but did not charge me because he promised me a dry basement. On July 18, after a heavy rain, water gushed into the basement from what happened to be a failed window under my deck. The following morning, Bill sent his crew to permanently close the window and resolve the issue at no additional cost. Since then, the basement has been dry. The only day it got wet was after the heavy rain of August 19, 2020. Many basements in my neighborhood were flooded. Mine was not flooded but got some water that came in from a second window that cannot be protected from water (no foundation Vent Area Wall) because of the tricky area where it is located. I will have the window blocked, which will resolve the last issue. So, I can’t say my basement is 100% dry yet, I'm giving Basement Solutions 5 stars and an excellent review because Bill went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. And once the window is blocked, I’m positive I will have no water issue. I strongly recommend Basement Solutions for your basement needs

"TJB designed and installed a pondless waterfall where a small fishpond had previously been located. The design was challenging owing to the small area available to accommodate the feature. But Ted and his crew came up with a very pleasing design. The sound from the waterfall is very pleasant and the waterfall can be viewed and enjoyed from a variety of locations both within the house and out in the yard. I love this addition to my yard! "Excellent group of guys who do excellent work. They cut down 12 huge trees for me safely and with precision. The trees were all on the property line and none of them landed on my neighbor's yard. They were very accommodating when I asked them to cut the trees into ten foot sections to be milled at a later date and then they stacked all the logs in a neat pile next to my driveway. "Jack snaked our kitchen drain and figured out where the clog was. He removed the clog by replacing a section of pipe in the basement. Jack did a good job at (what I believe to be) a fair price, but I never received an itemized bill for his services. After repeated requests, I have received no response. Also, Jack is personable but if you own a dog, keep it away from him.
