He was also the only contractor who offered to cover everything we have stored up in our entire attic with huge sheets of plastic before the job and then clean it up after. Everything has to be “just so.” You pay a little more for that, but the peace of mind is worth it. For example, he removed our cupola and weathervane, brought it home, rebuilt and painted it, and reinstalled it. Dirk has a degree in engineering, but decided early in life he needed to apply that knowledge by working with his hands and not in an office.
