"Alex is a rare craftsman. We hired him to refinish our cabinets, which were quite distressed. He did an incredible job. He is thoughtful, meticulous, and has a keen eye for detail. We could not be more pleased with his work."

Small jobs welcome

"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

"Total interior painting of 2,500SF home that hadn't been painted in 20 years. Painted kitchen cabinets, installed new hardware. I was preparing house for staging & sale. Brian and Team got it done in record time and on budget. Provides excellent customer service, polite, honest and cleaned up the mess every single night. I would use no one else."

"They were incredibly patient and accommodating. When I struggled to choose a cabinet color, they painted several doors in different shades to help me visualize the final look and ensure I got exactly what I wanted. To top it off, their pricing was better than any I found during my online research"

Kitchen Cabinet Refacing questions, answered by experts

Any of your garage shelves should be able to hold heavier loads, but it’s best to place heavier items on middle shelves. The only reason for this is to prevent injury—lifting heavy loads from down low requires squatting or bending over, which can lead to back injury, and lifting heavy loads off of high shelves in the garage can be especially dangerous if you drop them.

By using high-quality materials and finishes that endure daily wear.

Properly maintained, resurfacing typically lasts 5-10 years. Factors like surface usage and exposure to chemicals affect longevity.

Even the least DIY-savvy homeowner can replace cabinet hardware themselves. All you need is a drill, screwdriver, and a tape measure. However, always take the time to measure and fit carefully. Misalignment or dodgy drill holes can spoil the entire look of your cabinet makeover, and repairs or replacement cabinets can be costly.

Cabinet refacing typically takes 2 to 5 days to complete. The exact duration depends on several factors, including the size of the kitchen or bathroom, the level of customization, and the complexity of the updates. For example, uniquely designed doors and drawer fronts may take longer to manufacture and install. While a professional can often complete the job within this timeframe, a DIY refacing project may take longer.
