"Let me just prefix this by saying weâ ve had a few bad experiences working with contractors in the past. We had our porch done recently by a separate contractor, and dealing with that company was a nightmare. Material left out, never showing up to the job on the day they said, shoddy work ectâ ¦.. however, THIS was the opposite of that experience. We needed a cement slab poured. First off They were able to work the job right away basically, they were there when they said they would be there, on time. They worked quickly, and cleaned up the job and materials once it was completed. The slab once it was finished came out better than I had expected. The available space in the new room was increased at least 5-6 times over what we had had before, the layout was more naturally functional, and with the benefit of significantly more storage cabinets and shelving.  Jonathan was able to very quickly visualize what we were going for and capture it in 3D renderings which we were able to access and see what it would actually look like, complete with specific measurements of the proposed room and what it would look like from different perspectives and directions.  It really brought the room to life.  Seeing it in this manner really was valuable to us in some of our ideas were reinforced as to their feasibility while some gave us food for thought to change.  He also provided detailed construction plans that he himself took over to the town hall and submitted them for the permitting process for us.  These detailed plans also proved to be of enormous help in talking with contractors during the interview process about our project and headed off possible misunderstandings of what we wanted and how we wanted it done.  I liked this a lot because of my lack of experience or skill in construction and I found I was able to actually talk with a reasonable level of clarity and to know if they were thinking off track.  Jonathan also provided suggestions about effective ways of talking with contractors during the interview process so as to ensure quality performance and an acceptable price.  He also provided ballpark figures of what the project should realistically cost (a big help). 

Jonathan is a consummate professional and an enjoyable individual to work with.  He's patient and has a friendly manner about him that make you feel at ease, doesn't try to talk you into something you aren't comfortable with, and provides different ways of looking at how to achieve your goal.  I would definitely use him again and would recommend him without reservation.

Cleaned up all materials inside and outside the house.  Put down protective cloth in the house to protect the floor and catch removal of old window debris...The guys did a very professional job, were very polite and courteous - and my wife and I would recommend them to anyone!  Sergie (the owner) met with us prior - gave us a very fair price, and his workers, Alex and another gentleman (sorry can't remember his name :-(   did a superb job and craftsmanship.
