Small jobs welcome

"The crew did a great job on my patios and concrete pad. They were respectful and neat and went above and beyond with care when moving plants and lawn items and ensuring the equipment and materials were out of the way each night. The patios are beautiful and are going to be well enjoyed."

Small jobs welcome

"Alex first came over to see a small piece that had cracked off our concrete steps, he said of course he could fix it, but then the real fun began and we dreamt big and reimagined the hardscape in our front yard. what was finished yesterday became a masterpiece of bluestone steps with veneer trim, paver walkway with belgian block, a new rebuilt retaining wall,, a sweeping natural stone wall with steps and a circular enclosure around the base of a centerpiece japanese maple. Alex, the original Alex (his Dad) and the rest of the dedicated crew couldn't have been more skilled, polite and cleaned up after themselves completely. The vision of the job changed a few times with suggestions from Alex, Us and others.. will definitely be having them back for more work soon"

"Chris from Exteriors of CT, LLC was fantastic to work with. His quote was competitive, and he clearly explained everything that would be included—roof removal, fascia and trim repairs, and the new installation. His team showed up on time, worked hard on a very hot day, and the quality of their work really shows. They left the property spotless when they were done. It’s rare to find a contractor this professional and reliable. We are thrilled with the results."

"This is the second time I have used All Brothers. The first time I used the firm to rebuild my chimney, and they did an excellent job. This time, I asked the firm to repair a roof leak. The firm again did an excellent job. Tina always answers the phone when it rings, and she is very responsive. The men show up when they are supposed to. They are the best--and I know; I used to be a roofer."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.
