"Matt has done multiple projects for me, including kitchen cabinet refacing, applying new kitchen tile, kitchen floor and all new inside doors. Everything was done timely and with excellence. Matt gave me an estimate and stayed within budget. He arrives on time and cleans up as he works. He is very polite and takes the time to answer questions completely. While he was here for my door replacement, I asked him if he could install a flag on my house, that would require a base built where it attached to the house. Mounting a TV to a brick wall can be safe and secure if done correctly. However, it requires proper installation to ensure the TV is firmly attached and won't pose a risk of falling. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.

Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.

Fire and electronics typically don't mix, but that doesn't mean you can't mount your TV on a brick fireplace. However, you should proceed with caution.
