My deck was really worn out and had mildew and moss growing in between the seams of the steps and on some of the boards used for flooring. Everything was sanded down, pressure washed/stripped, and then stained with a solid color of Cape Cod red. I was beyond impressed. My deck looked like it was brand new! They removed all my deck boards and lumber posts and railing which were rotting away. The boards were replaced with Trex and the posts and railings with vinyl. John T. The owner and operator was here 90% of the time while his crew was doing the job. He ensured quality of the work. He is a man that prides himself on the quality of his work and it definitely shows in the end product. I appreciated his approach to the project. He first gets an understanding of what you want and then provides suggestions to make it even better. Through the course of the project he explained why he had to do certain things and how he was keeping within the guidelines of the current code. I knew and exactly what I was paying for and it was well with it. Friends, neighbors and coworkers have had nothing but compliments on how splendid the refurbished deck looks. More importantly my family loves it. We spend our late afternoons and evenings out on the deck now and enjoy the view. I should have hired John sooner so I could have enjoyed a summer bbq season in the new deck. JD Contracting Services we’re affordable and worth the price.
