"My family woke up to our septic tank back flowing into our house. I called our septic tank company and they came out right away and gave me a name of another drain service company. They were less than responsive despite claiming 24/7 service. I found Atomic Rooter thank to Angie's List and every step from the answering service to the on-call technician were wonderful. It was 7pm and 12 degrees outside and Joey arrived earlier than expected! He was quick to get to work and give detailed explanation of the work he was going to do, even though the access valve was under a crawl space, covered by snow, in really cold weather he didn't bat and eye. "The job took 1.5 days because I had moved everything to the center of the basement. They had 5+ feet of clearance around the perimeter, with plastic covering hung from floor joists. The dust still managed to cover everything behind the plastic walls. My advice: do a thorough job of sealing the space or be prepared to have a big dust cleanup. Only disappointment was that the drain at the foot of the steps to the bilco doors was positioned directly below the internal door. You cannot install a sill on top of this so when finishing we will now have a dangerous transition. This was never explained. Otherwise, a great crew."
