Jeremy demonstrated a level of trust that gave us comfort that the needed improvements made to our 90-year-old home, were appropriate and that the house would be safe, secure, and visually pleasing for future generations. This trust emerged from the initial quote that described the specific steps SHP would follow, to leaving the work area, every day, as spotless as when the team showed up, to traveling to the Boston area for a door that was not available at a store in Connecticut, to creatively and thoughtfully solving the issues and challenges the house threw at SHP, to taking every requested addition to the project with a can do attitude. In a nutshell, the SHP focus was ensuring that the improvements to our house would stand the test of time, and that the work was completed with care and dedication as if we were part of Jeremy’s family. Jeremy was transparent about the daily work. He sent us pictures of the progress made and of the structural issues that were uncovered. Although we would have wished wood rot, roof leakage, water damage and termite damage did not exist, they did. Because Jeremy provided the daily updates, he was able to share why the improvements were needed and important. He always answered my questions clearly and concisely. The SHP billing approach was clear so there were never any surprises. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably the project ended up costing. Observing Jeremy and the SHP teamwork was amazing. I have never seen such a talented, dedicated, caring, and creating team. They worked with amazing efficiency and effectiveness. I can attest, based on other projects we have taken on, this project would have taken much longer than the five short weeks (including Christmas and below freezing temperatures) this took. The quality of their work was remarkable and the pride in their workmanship was always evident. The extra touches he included in the project and the counsel he provided gave us 100% confidence that he would do what was right and that he, and SHP, would go above and beyond. The house is beautiful, and Jeremy and SHP will always hold a place in our hearts. They are an absolute gift, and they are now considered part of our family. I did not know Jeremy before this project, but I now count him as a friend. Going forward, we will call Jeremy and SHP first and we will know that he will care for us and for our house as if it was his own."

"I hired Jimmy's Masonry for a new sidewalk and walkway. When breaking up the sidewalk, they were throwing the large, broken up pieces of concrete on my yard. They already had their tools and equipment on the grass so I asked them to remove everything and use the street and driveway. They proceeded to put bags of concrete and tools on my neighbors yard which I also had to instruct them to move. When the job was "complete", they did not secure the area with caution tape or anything else and someone ended up walking on it with their dog while it was still wet leaving footprints. I made Jimmy aware of this and he came to my house and said, it was not a big deal. A small part of the sidewalk had been repaired and they did not make the sidewalk the same size and said they would cut and remove the extra piece which they did not. Also, the sidewalk is crooked. Jimmy was not willing to fix anything. I am having the sidewalk and walkway completely redone in the spring."
