"I've used Wesson Energy for a few years now as a member of the Connecticut Energy Cooperative. The prices are great and the service is responsive and professional.
In September, I noticed that the gauge on my heating oil tank showed that I was a quarter of a tank low. A few days later I received a notice of delivery from Wesson billing me for approximately 175 gallons of oil (about half a tank). I called to ask why, if I was only a quarter of a tank down, I would have needed so much oil.
Wesson sent out a technician to look at the problem. As it turned out, the gauge was wrong (they acquire a later of silt over time that weighs down the floater). Apparently l had looked at the gauge just after the delivery and the tank wasn't registering as full. 
Throughout the course of several phone calls to resolve this problem, representatives for Wesson were courteous and professional. 
P.S. Wesson definitely fixed the problem; the old gauge remained on the tank so I was able to compare the readings on the new and old gauges. The old gauge consistently registers a quarter-tank lower.

"Pete was very knowledgeable and quickly identified the source of my concern. I knew something was in the chimney because my dog was continually going over to the fireplace smelling and barking. I was hearing scratching noises. Pete worked to restrict access to the chimney, dealt with a possible gas problem, cleaned the chimney and installed a stainless steel sleeve believing all was clear and problem solved. During the final task of cleaning the fireplace we all were unprepared for the what jumped out at us. What to our wondering eyes should appear (not Santa) but a BIG squirrel that ran helter-skelter through 2 rooms, jumping on furniture, going under it, frantically looking for a way out. Luckily, he avoided the dog and went into a room with French doors that my son quickly opened and fled into freedom. WOW, OMG, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, WHO WUDDA THOUGHT!!!! "We have Frontpoint at two houses. We had been looking for ways to cut our monthly expenses (Frontpoint is approx. $100 per month total), so I called them to find out what I could do. They informed me that I was under contract for another year, and that I cannot get out of the contract without an early termination fee that is equal to the cost of the service. I'm a little disappointed, because the upfront cost of the system was very expensive ($1,000+) for each house, so it seems odd that I would get sucked into this contract. Nevertheless, I forgot that I signed up for this with them. My calendar is marked for the day that my service ends, and I will be switching to a company that charges about half of what they do. They have OK customer service and are very responsive, but the wireless system had some issues with reception in my house due to a fireplace, and then they didn't want to work with me to get that resolved. They're OK, but I can't really recommend them."
