After of what I make the tub look like after my reglazing process is complete. I don’t use an epoxy top coat which is old outdated reglazing technology. I use an acrylic urethane glaze that’s whiter and harder than epoxy. It’s also much more durable. It more expensive but it’s worth it for the longevity.

"I called for a quote on changing my bathtub to a wheelchair accessible shower, for my mother in law. I was amazed at how quickly they got back to me, I saw them the next day. Their bathroom designer was so patient with us, took his time to show us all their samples, and even helped us find financing that made it possible to surprise my mother in law with an entire new bathroom! The guys who came out did an incredible job on the bathroom and made the whole process so easy. They got the job done in less than 3 days. From start to finish, it was such a great experience. "Kyle installed our walk-in shower and did a fantastic job. It was a very long day for him due to an issue with our plumbing, but he remained positive and kept working methodically to complete the job. "The tub is wonderful! Installation of the tub was ok except for the widening of the bathroom door. The door trim was wrong and the door itself was not straight. The threshold was not installed at all. Paid an additional $700 to get the door rehung."

It’s useful for sealing minor leaks and concealing damage on the bottom of a tub. On the other hand, a bathtub liner is essentially a protective casing that goes over the entire tub. They are usually custom-fit and cost more than reglazing yet don’t last as long.

The reglazed tub won’t last as long as a brand-new bathtub. Professional reglazing jobs can only last up to 15 years.

According to most pros, you can only reglaze a tub once or twice. So, if you’ve already reglazed your tub once, it might not be a realistic solution.

Some chemicals used in reglazing a bathtub can be dangerous to your health. If you’re DIYing the project, ensure the room is ventilated, and always wear a mask. If you hire a contractor, make sure you get the clearance to use the bathroom again.
