"Having never used Angi before we weren’t sure what to expect. We had a small kitchen cabinet repair of replacing broken drawer slides on the trash/recycling drawer. Dan’s Carpentry responded to our request for a quote in a reasonable amount of time and came to view the project the next day. Dan arrived on time. After he reviewed what was needed we hired him to complete the job. He went above and beyond by not only replacing the slides, but reinforced some loose joints in the drawer front with extra screws. He also cleaned up the work area. Then he even asked if we had anything else to be fixed. We did have a hose reel that connected to the outside of the house but was falling off. He assessed it and had longer screws in his truck and quickly replaced them. It won’t be falling off anymore. Thank you, Dan!! We will use Dan’s Carpentry again."

"The experience we had collaborating with Jeremy and the Sensible Home Products (SHP) team was outstanding and one beyond anything we could have imagined. In fact, we have never had a better experience with any contractor or company, of any type, than what we had with SHP. Jeremy demonstrated a level of trust that gave us comfort that the needed improvements made to our 90-year-old home, were appropriate and that the house would be safe, secure, and visually pleasing for future generations. This trust emerged from the initial quote that described the specific steps SHP would follow, to leaving the work area, every day, as spotless as when the team showed up, to traveling to the Boston area for a door that was not available at a store in Connecticut, to creatively and thoughtfully solving the issues and challenges the house threw at SHP, to taking every requested addition to the project with a can do attitude. I can attest, based on other projects we have taken on, this project would have taken much longer than the five short weeks (including Christmas and below freezing temperatures) this took. The quality of their work was remarkable and the pride in their workmanship was always evident. The extra touches he included in the project and the counsel he provided gave us 100% confidence that he would do what was right and that he, and SHP, would go above and beyond. The house is beautiful, and Jeremy and SHP will always hold a place in our hearts. They are an absolute gift, and they are now considered part of our family.
