Customers say: Quick response

"Elvin is a real craftsman. He installed bookshelves in several rooms and he will do a kitchen tiling project for me later this week. He is very easy to work with and is generally responsive via text. (If he says heâ ll be there at 9:00am, thatâ s when heâ ll show up. ) Iâ ve given him access to my home when Iâ m not there and heâ s entirely trustworthy. His fees are very reasonable, in my opinion. I will definitely be using Elvin for other projects as they come up."

"I also had new window installed and needed siding replaced. They also put in new storm doors and redid my front staircase. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a great job. I was very happy with the quality of their work and that they listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend this company."

Grab Bar Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, most services include safety checks and anchoring to ensure stability. Confirm with your provider.

To install window security bars, you have to mount the bars securely to opposite sides of the window frame. A home has structural framing directly behind window frames, so the screws you use to mount burglar bars need to be long enough to reach that framing. With bars installed between these secure anchors, you'll have a barrier that deters intruders.

Yes, burglar bars are highly effective at securing windows and deterring burglars. Intruders typically seek easy targets they can enter and exit quickly, so the presence of bars often convinces them to move on. If an attempt is made, the bars make the break-in more difficult, time-consuming, and likely to attract attention. Window security bars can withstand considerable force and are a relatively affordable, low-tech security solution that is easy for most homeowners to install. In addition to security, window bars also offer the benefit of protecting children and pets from accidental falls.

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.

To make your gate safe, purchase a gate made from strong material such as wrought iron, stainless steel, or other metals. Ensure that the gate has strong joints and bars that are welded on rather than inserted loosely. If you’re concerned about people climbing over your gate, you can deter them by installing fence spikes along the top as an extra precaution.
