"They called last minute and had an opening to get it done the next day. It took about 6 hours total and looks beautiful. No mess to and from the bathroom left behind. Will be contacting them next year for another bathroom."

"I needed stone countertops in a hurry and EVERYONE was booked. Rocky came through immediately. He met us the same afternoon despite bad weather to show us what he had available, and installed a couple days later. It seemed like a miracle...he made it happen. And it's beautiful quartz at a great price! He will be my first choice!"

"Maria and Lupe were excellent to work with. They gave the best price and worked to assure that we made the best use of our granite slab. They communicated regularly and fit the job into our busy schedule. They followed-up to check on any concerns and touched up any imperfections we noticed. We actually got more done (2 bathrooms in addtion to the kitchen) for the price than we expected. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and both my wife and I highly recommend them."

"Before entering my condo, Aaron and his employee took off their shoes.   Aaron told me what he would do, approximately how long it would take and what it would cost.   They did what they needed to do.   It was obvious that Aaron was training his employee and I thought his instruction was very good.   They left the bathroom clean and told me not to use the shower for 24 hours.    I was pleased with the results.

Stone Countertops questions, answered by experts

Epoxy is typically more affordable than granite, especially if you’re choosing a high-end slab. Most granite countertops cost $75 to $145 per square foot to install, with high-end varieties topping $185 per square foot.

In contrast, epoxy countertops cost $50 to $150 per square foot to install. The material costs for epoxy are significantly lower than granite, but installation costs can be higher. Rather than simply cutting granite countertops to size before installation, your contractor will need to carefully pour the epoxy over an existing surface.

Any surface, including a waterfall countertop, can last decades based on a few things. First is the chosen material. For instance, quartz and granite are more durable and long-lasting than marble or concrete. Proper care also plays a key role. Regular cleaning and sealing, if required, will help any counter resist stains and damage over time.

The angle at which you cut countertops depends on the material, your intended outcome, and the location of the cut. For example, rather than cutting a straight 90-degree angle for internal corners, cut edges at a 45-degree angle to give a clean, professional look. For outside edges, most homeowners want squared-off sides, so 90-degree angles can make the most sense there. Because you want to get angles exactly right to minimize seams and eliminate the need for patching, be sure to measure several times before cutting and use the right equipment to get sharp, accurate angles.

Quartz countertops are known for their durability, but they aren’t indestructible. Quartz countertops can crack under extreme pressure, like when experiencing a heavy impact. The same can happen with regular exposure to high temperatures. Finally, improper installation makes the quartz more vulnerable.

Different types of engineered stone countertops require varying installation methods. The best option is to hire a countertop installer, especially if you are unfamiliar with the stone you plan to use. Generally speaking, quartz is the easiest for DIYers because you can cut it on site with a diamond blade and diamond hole saw. The average DIYer is unlikely to have the special tools to cut sintered stone countertops. Before diving into a project, make sure you have the experience and tools to do the job correctly.
