"Jessie was a true professional. He arrived on time, got us our quote within the day. Followed up to see if we had questions in a timely manner. Jessie had all his samples with him and a catalog to pick our sinks from. No pressure to sign a contract ever. He was understanding we needed time to decide. Treated my wife with respect (other sales people directed questions to me and not her, they made her feel invisible). Jessie’s prices were fair and reasonable, so we decided to go with him. The installation took a day and everything was as promised. He was careful and respectful of our space and time. Thank you Jessie for the excellent job and the beautiful countertops. He also made us two cutting boards at no extra charge."

"It is our pleasure to write this unsolicited letter of recommendation on behalf of Euro Style, LLC. We had solicited (3) three bids for the kitchen counters and remodeling of our master bath, upgrading our vanities with granite top also our half bath to match. Rocky kept us closely informed of the work schedules, and projected completion date. Rocky and his team’s work was very detail-oriented, very courteous, and respectful to us as homeowners. The pride and work ethics were evident. Rocky and his team tidied up at the end of each workday. I would definitely recommend Euro Style, LLC services for any project."

"Josh and Brady were great to work with. They assessed the tile and grout issues that was left behind by a previous contractor and recommended an affordable solution. The work was done very well and I'd definitely recommend them for future work."

"Maria and Lupe were excellent to work with. They gave the best price and worked to assure that we made the best use of our granite slab. They communicated regularly and fit the job into our busy schedule. They followed-up to check on any concerns and touched up any imperfections we noticed. We actually got more done (2 bathrooms in addtion to the kitchen) for the price than we expected. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and both my wife and I highly recommend them."

"After going way over budget on our Master Bath renovation, we called Matt to see what he could do with our kids/guest bathroom. Matt and his Team made the grout in the shower, sink, floor and toilet look amazing!!!! We were small business owners, so we appreciated his exemplary customer service and follow up. Without hesitation, we definitely recommend The Grout Doctor and Matt."

Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts

Yes, marble countertops are fairly soft and can scratch easily, especially compared to rival materials. However, most marble scratches are easy to repair, thanks to marble polish and repair kits. Deep scratches will require a professional.

It all comes down to rarity and demand. Granite rocks with unique patterns or rare colorways like red, purple, and blue are more expensive than traditional designs. Some types of blue granite are extremely rare, like Azul Aran and Blue Bahia, driving the price up even further. The most expensive type of all is a unique design called Van Gogh granite. As the name suggests, it sort of looks like a painting.

The frequency for sealing granite countertops depends on several factors, including the type of sealant used, the color of the granite, and how heavily the countertops are used. As a general guideline, resealing is often recommended every 12 to 18 months, but some sources suggest it could be as often as every few months or at least once a year.

The type of sealant is a major factor: water-based sealants may need reapplication every six months to a year, while more durable solvent-based sealants can last for five to 10 years. Additionally, factors like heavy kitchen traffic, frequent use of acidic cleaners, and lighter granite colors may require more frequent sealing to prevent staining.

To determine if your countertops need resealing, you can perform a simple water test. Place a few drops of water or a wet paper towel on an inconspicuous area of the granite. After 10 to 15 minutes, check the spot. If the water has beaded up, the seal is still intact. If the water has been absorbed and darkened the stone, it's time to apply a new coat of sealant. You can choose to seal the granite yourself or hire a professional to ensure it's done correctly.

Professionals remove scratches, stains, and etching, restoring the stone’s natural shine and extending its lifespan.

Rubbing alcohol won’t damage most countertops, and you can mix it with water to create a disinfecting spray to keep your kitchen clean. It’s safer than using bleach on countertops, which can stain and cause discoloration. Be careful with rubbing alcohol when it comes to lacquered or varnished surfaces, though.
