"Mr. Valasquez gave a quote on installing a complete lawn irrigation system with a rain detector. We hired his company. They did a fantastic job. The job was completed in a timely manner. It is great, not to have to haul the garden hose around the lawn, to water. We highly recommend Valasquez Landscape and give them 5 stars."

"Several years ago we replaced our upstairs bathroom flooring....using a friend. We realize he didn't know what he was doing when he put the toilet back in. Years later we have ugly mold/fungus on our downstairs ceiling and between the floors. I saw a referral here, on Nextdoor, to use Shawn Turano of PROPERTY RESTORATION SOLUTIONS. Great referral! He really knows how to handle dangerous molds, utilizing HEPA requirements, etc. He gave us a reasonable bid, adhered to it, did an outstanding job and solved our problem. If you need property/disaster restoration from a flood, fire, smoke, mold, or general contracting needs, I can honestly refer Shawn. Here is his number: 719-650-5895."

"They did an Awesome Job with replacing the fence and worked with me on my insurance adjustment. They also grounded some stumps that was included in the cost. The people they had install the fence were not illegals which was a big plus. Great guys I would defiantly recommend them to anyone and have."

"Things went very well and we are totally pleased with the results!! Taylor came up with some great ideas and a definite plan. He is very creative and professional. Taylor also has a great team of experienced landscapers. They work long and hard days, are very organized and conscientious about cleaning up every day. Initially I thought it was expensive, but afterwards, it was money well spent. Thanks for a great job!"

"We were very happy with the landscaping work we had done by Ryan Cowen and his crew. They worked very hard to get the job done quickly, they were reliable and trustworthy, and we are so happy with our beautiful yard! The price was very fair also. I am glad to have found someone who does quality lawn and yard work who is willing to come to Woodland Park. We're considering using his lawn maintenance services as well, but we will definitely us his services in the future for other projects we're planning such as building an outdoor living area. Thank you Ryan!"

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

It is generally safe to stay in a house that smells like sewage for a short time, but you should get the problem fixed as soon as possible. While the level of sewer gas is usually low enough to only cause minor symptoms, prolonged inhalation can lead to headaches, nausea, or respiratory irritation. High levels of gas exposure can be more dangerous, and high concentrations of methane—a component of sewer gas—can pose an explosion risk in enclosed spaces. If you smell sewer gas in your home, ventilate the area and call a professional to locate, assess, and fix the problem, as it will not go away on its own.

Plumbing leaks, roof failures, poor drainage systems, and severe weather events that lead to flooding or inundation are common causes of water accumulation.

The average cost to pump a septic tank is around $550, though prices can range from $250 to over $1,250. The final cost depends on several factors, including the size of your tank, how full it is, and your geographic location. For example, pumping a small tank might cost between $290 and $530, while a larger 1,750-gallon tank could cost $600 or more. Prices also vary by region; for instance, costs in Minneapolis range from $175 to $275, while in Portland, they can be between $440 and $750. Regular pumping is essential to prevent waste buildup, which can lead to backups and damage to your drain field.

When your septic system is failing, you’ll probably smell it. Common signs of a septic system failure include sewage odors in the home or around the yard, flooding in the yard above the septic tank or in the leach field, and wastewater or even raw sewage backing up into your home’s drains.

You may notice a septic smell in your yard after it rains if groundwater is entering your septic tank and causing it to overflow. If you experience septic odors after rainfall, contact a licensed plumber. They can construct a drain to redirect rainwater away from your septic tank.
