"Mario completed the job within a week of calling him, promptly and with no fuss. He was communicative during the entire process and easy to work with. When I requested a modification for framing after the drywall was already hung he was accommodating. The finished room looks wonderful and I would recommend them for their timeliness, professionalism, and attention to the client."

"Gio was very quick to call us back. He came the next day to give us an estimate and started the work that same day. He did good work and when there was something outside his expertise, he found someone who could do that part."

"Amazingly well. This was a rental that had not be updated or remodeled for 30 years. Everything had to be replaced including windows, doors, flooring, total kitchen, total bath, updated wiring, drywall repair/replacement, lighting, and painting. The quality of the finished work was excellent. I wouldn't have believed one person could be skilled in so many different areas of construction."

"I never contacted the provider or used this service in anyway. I have to
write this review so that the request to write this review stops
popping up.
The rating is bogus as it is required to be able to submit.

"They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

When hanging a door frame, it’s recommended that you use screws, not nails. Screws are more secure, easier to tighten, and easier to remove if you need to adjust the frame. On average, the cost to replace a door frame is about $400, but you can save on labor costs if you’re confident in your ability to DIY the project.

The cost to frame a 2,000-square-foot house can fall anywhere between $14,000 and $32,000. This price can increase or decrease depending on what type of framing you choose, the quality of the materials, the project's complexity, and whether you decide to hire a professional to do the job.

You should avoid drilling or cutting into load-bearing beams because removing material will weaken it and increase the risk of structural damage or even collapse. If you do need to drill into a load-bearing beam, speak with a structural engineer first to discuss where it’s safest to drill and the width and depth of the bit that’s safe to use.

For a professional carpenter, installing a window seat can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on some aspects of the project. Aside from building the seat itself, if they have to remove any cabinets, shelves, or baseboards, that will add time to the project.

Bow windows need support because they are large and extend out from the exterior wall of the home. Bow windows may extend 1 foot to several feet from the outside of the home, so you’ll need to provide additional support to handle this weight. A window contractor will be able to provide the proper amount of support for your new bow window.
