"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"Alex and Jesus from Road Runner Moving & Storage did a fantastic job. They were hardworking and very professional. They asked questions along the way to make sure everything was going as expected. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience, I am very glad we used Road Runner and would definitely use this crew (specifically Alex & Jesus!) again. Highly recommended."

"So I hired these folks to help me unload a self-move U-Haul. I did help extensively with the unloading. I also moved six times in 10 years. While the workers were extremely nice, they did not arrive with basic moving gear: gloves, sliding pads, or hoist straps. They caused more damage than I'm comfortable with for a move. Furthermore, mid-transaction, the payment method changed, and the phone number became obsolete. I had concerns on the operational side."

"He and his team did an amazing job moving us out of our third floor apartment to a storage unit. We were so impressed with their professionalism that we will be requesting the same moving company to move us into our new house. The entire move was so easy and hassle free."

"The gentleman we friendly and courteous and miraculously got furniture into an apartment that was designed poorly for moving in/out. However, I felt the pace was slow and I was uncertain about their experience/knowledge with moving. They did a good job but I wouldn't jump at the opportunity to recommend this company simply because the time it takes affects the cost of the move."

"This was an internal building move, one household into two separate apartments. They quickly and carefully moved everything much faster than I thought they would. The three employees worked well together. I have already recommended Gentle John’s Moving to our building management."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Renting a moving truck or using a shipping container (or moving pod) are typically the cheapest ways to move long-distance. For moving a few items, a container can cost as little as $700. Renting a standard-sized moving truck averages between $1,200 and $2,100. For longer distances, moving pods can become more cost-effective, as you can ship the pod to your destination and avoid transportation costs like gas, mileage, and lodging.

On average, it takes 4 to 6 hours to move a pool table, depending on factors like its size and weight and the distance it needs to travel. For larger pool tables or those with a ball return system, the time can take closer to 6 to 8 hours due to the complex disassembly and reassembly.

It depends on your lease with the mobile home park. Most parks ask residents to provide written notice 30 days before moving. Consult your current mobile park for specific move-out details before moving.

To save your flooring’s finish and to protect yourself from injury, use furniture sliders to move your couch from room to room on the same house level. Double-check that entryways are large enough to pass through. If you need to move a couch up or down stairs, hire a team of movers to help you with this task to avoid damaging your walls or staircase.

Planning your office move should ideally start three to six months or more in advance. This timeframe allows plenty of time for tasks such as researching moving companies, creating a budget, coordinating with employees, decluttering and organizing, packing, and addressing any logistical challenges. Starting early also ensures that you have flexibility in scheduling and can handle unexpected hiccups that may arise during the planning process.
