"The estimator and drywall technicians showed up when they were scheduled with good attitudes. We were a bit concerned about the drywall dust since we have a toddler and an infant in the house, but the workers created a tent around the work area and cleaned the area up when they were done. They really did a great job without creating a mess for the homeowner to clean up. They also brought some great tasting scones. I would definitely call The Wall Rebuilder for future work."

Small jobs welcome

"I had a fantastic experience with this company. The owners provided excellent customer service in a timely way during the drywall installation for the renovation of my home. They did a great job scraping the ceiling of popcorn and fixing places in the drywall throughout my house. They also installed drywall in my entire garage. It looks great! I would highly recommend this company!"

Small jobs welcome

"hired for framing, drywall, texturing, painting. Very quick, communicative, dedicated to having a satisfied customer. The new drywall was blended very well with the original drywall and the texturing matched nicely. Included painting of a beam not in the original quote at no extra charge. There was some additional dust cleanup and paint touch-up needed which I mentioned and Edgar offered to have someone come out to do the clean-up / touch-up or negotiate a discount on the remaining balance and I opted for a reasonable discount. I would definitely hire this team again."

"South Valley Drywall was fantastic. They performed tape & texture job for my finished basement. 1200 sq.ft. job. They were extremely professional, starting with the estimator Garrett Vapp. He spent 30 minutes with us giving us advice and a thorough emailed written quote.Bill the job supervisor answered all of my questions and had his crewwas there on time every day. They did exactly what he said they were going to do. They actually fixed some things that we messed up hanging drywall. The job was finished in time and without change orders. I would highly recommend South Valley, and oh, by the way did I mentionj they were the low bid!"

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Drywall texture refers to the techniques used on the surface of drywall to create a pleasing visual or tactile effect. Depending on your desired outcome, drywall texture can range from incredibly subtle to a focal point of a room. Textures play a significant role in interior design and are an excellent and relatively cost-effective way to change the feeling of a room.

White walls are the toughest color to keep clean and maintain, as they’re extremely unforgiving when it comes to dirt, splatters, dust, and smudges. Still, many people look past their high-maintenance requirements because they lighten and modernize a space beautifully. If you’re opting for white walls, it’s especially important to keep up with regular cleanings, so they stay pristine.

The easiest way to cut holes in drywall for electrical boxes is to use a spiral saw with a drywall router bit. Hang the drywall without cutting out a hole for the box, but make sure you measure and mark where the box is located on the wall. Once you screw in the drywall sheet, drill a small hole into the box void, insert the spiral saw bit, and move it around the edge of the box using the inside wall as a guide. You can also use an oscillating multi-tool with an electrical box cutout for fast, professional results.

Drywall mudding can be done in one day if the project is small and the desired effect isn’t too complex. If you need multiple layers of mud, one day may not be realistic. But a single room that requires little more than joint compound on the seams and screws can be done in a day or two.

Glass walls are more expensive overall than their brick or drywall counterparts. However, if you need walls for a building with more than two or three stories, glass walls are the more budget-friendly option.
