"In hindsight, I believe we were charged anywhere from five to $8000 more than what we should’ve paid. We had a walk-in bathtub installed and while I like the bathtub, the overall cost was excessive. We prepped the bathroom and removed the old bathtub so they did not have to contend with any remodeling or removal of old construction. The plumbing itself did not have to be moved so the only thing they had to do was deliver and install the tub. I would recommend for anybody using this company to not succumb like I did to the pressure buy. If they’re going to install it, they should be able to give you a quote that they standby as you compare prices with other installation companies. After the installation was completed, we did all the backsplash tiling ourselves as well as decorative tiling around the base of the tub."

"I hired Paramount back in 2020 for work on the first floor and appreciated their work so much that I brought them back for the basement (fix/ update after mold repair) and second floor (bathroom and stairs update, new carpet). Like the first time, I really appreciated Ryan's suggestions on style and options, and the various contractors were professional and very kind about working around me and the cats. Ryan was ultimately more critical than me about details and appreciate that desire to do things right and as clean as possible. Would use again!... although that would require a new house at this point. 😁"

"When looking to make some improvements in the kitchen and possibly one bath, I got estimates from 3 companies. Stellar was by far the best; Jack and Andrew had lots of ideas but they understood and foresaw the ramifications of each decision, what additional problems each change might create, and how to fix each issue. They were great to work with. Blake, the person who did most of the work, is highly skilled in every area, and works to the highest standards."

"This is a honest review that has good and bad points. Out of 5 contractors interviewed, Nick was the only one willing to listen to our vision which was not the typical current remodel. We needed to take out a wall to open our kitchen and rearrange the layout and add gas lines. We needed to take one giant out of date bathroom and make it into two. Nick had a reasonable quote for all the work and his time frame set perfectly with our needs. Unfortunately we did not do our research to confirm the city rules for remodels nor did Nick include permits in his bid. Our horrible neighbor called the city to report us and the city shut our work down for 3 weeks. We had to cut items out of the scope of work and budget to now cover the permits. Understandably this delay would cause further issues in the time frame and Nick's team would need to begin working on other projects. Many times Nick would say or text that he would be at our site to do certain work at particular times and he would not show up at those times or complete the work as discussed. We did some of the work ourselves such as paint. Grout for the tile and baseboards was not cleaned up properly off the painted walls which meant we had to repaint much of the walls again. We asked for this grout to be addressed during final walk through but were told that painting was on us to do again. We felt that if the grout had been cleaned when it was wet and paint had been on their scope of work that perhaps it would have been dealt with properly from the start. When it came to installing the new appliances, our brand new front door was damaged as they brought in the fridge. Nick accepted responsibility and fixed it as best as he could. He also lost our garage door opener which he paid us for. Now for the good points, tile work looks great. The shower is impressive and we appreciate the time and details spent on creating it. His cabinet supplier is good and well priced. The plumbing and electrical sub contractors were excellent and we have recommended them to neighbors for smaller issues. Nick and Russell work **** ** the job at hand. Our situation just didn't go as planned and caused frustration on both sides which was amplified when there was poor communication. Perhaps if our situation didn't have so many bumps or was on a smaller scale then I would be able to give A rating. But we want to be honest and say that we failed on our research and understanding but Nick as the professional should have been ahead of possible situation to help us prevent the big delay and costs."
