"I can't recommend him (and his team) highly enough. What started as a curb stop repair turned into one of those jobs where experience and problem-solving really matter, and he handled everything exceptionally well. He showed up when he said he would, communicated clearly throughout the project, and did the work the right way. He went above and beyond, and it was obvious he cared more about doing the job correctly than simply getting it done. Finding someone who is knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely takes pride in their work isn't always easy. I'm grateful for everything he and his crew did and wouldn't hesitate to call him again or recommend him to anyone needing excavation work."

"On one of our rainy days I discovered a leak in an upstairs closet.  Bottom line, there were areas on roof in which flashing was never put in, and the area around the bathroom exhaust was never sealed off and we had wind damage on the back side of our roof.   We contacted 3 different recommended roofers for estimates, and decided to go with Rhino, good fair price and we had great communication with them.
Everything from start to finish was completed in a timely and professional manner.  Insurance was only paying a partial amount of the cost to repair (for the wind damage), and Ryan worked with my company and provided a very detailed invoice in order for us to get a larger payout (costs in this area were higher than the estimate from insurance adjuster).
I checked on status through out the day and could not believe how much debris was all over the driveway and yard, but every evening it was completely swept up and cleaned up.
There was a slight delay in getting started due to weather, but we were communicated with first thing in the morning (and we were very flexbile on timing).   Everything was coordinated by them, including the drop off and pick up of the large construction dumpster.  We were very pleased with the outcome, price, and professionalism.   We would definitely use them again.

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

Natural ice melts can often get the job done without damaging concrete. You can try non-corrosive options such as kitty litter, alfalfa meal, coffee grounds, sugar beet juice, and heated snow-melting mats. While they may cause some staining, these natural melts are safe for concrete, pets, and the environment.

When it comes to deciding whether a two-stage or three-stage snow blower is better, you must consider the amount of snowfall you get, the size of the area, and your budget.

A three-stage snow blower is more efficient at clearing higher volumes of snow quicker and removing ice build-up. It’s ideal for commercial use and removing snow from large areas. Make sure to compare various types of snow removal equipment to ensure you purchase the one that is best for your needs.

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.

Removal typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour per item, depending on accessibility and size.
