"JK Construction LTD Jack and Amanda were very kind, courteous and professional. They primed the interior and exterior of our home and a put two coates of of paint on the inside and outside. Their work was very meticulous making sure that the furniture and rugs were protected with masking tape and plastic. On the outside everthing was masked and covered with plastic so the cement would not be damaged by any excess paint. Overall they were very hard working and diligent to due the very best job that they could. They would always ask for any input we had regarding color, defects to the walls and exterior caulking and repairs. "Jon Thomas Construction was our contractor of choice for several major remodel projects between 2017 and 2018. We were so impressed by the quality of his work (as well as the professionalism exhibited by his crews) that we decided to contract with him again for conversion of our existing garage into a combination 2-car garage / exercise room. The existing garage had room for 4 cars, but only two of the spaces were being utilized with a single overhead door for two cars. The other half was available to us for storage or other use. The garage was well-insulated, however, still was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer for comfort. We utilized parts of the existing garage for our workouts, but it was never a proper area for exercise. We are in our late 60s, so we ran the risk of pulling muscles (or worse) without performing stretching techniques and/or warmups. We decided to find a solution that would encourage us to exercise safely at all times of the year. We met with Jon in early January 2025, and he came up with a design to wall-off one half of the garage and insulate the new wall. He also suggested we install a “mini-split” HVAC unit to keep temperature comfortable. Our vision of the new exercise room included the use of acoustic panels, mirrors, and rubber matting on the floor. We also wished to replace an existing door, and, add a second door to isolate the new workout room from the garage. Jon provided his expert opinion on what materials to order and helped us determine the most cost-effective way(s) to proceed. Jon Thomas ensured that our project was completed on-time and at or under budget. We are happy with the finished product and are enjoying working out in our new exercise facility! "Will (Gene) and his crew did a major remodel of our upstairs. They moved two walls, totally made a new bathroom, moved sink, shower and toilet, and replaced tile and flooring. They added larger windows to our bedroom, and replaced part of wood flooring and custom cedar ceiling in bedroom. Absolutely outstanding job. Also, had one small plumbing issue, and we alerted him of it late Friday night, and he was here to correct it Saturday morning . Customer satisfaction is definitely definitely extremely important to them. Will (Gene) and Johnny were great, and Mandy, Isabella and Paul (drywall, paint and cleanup crew) were equally impressive.
