"I have used many maid services in the past, but quit using because they were expensive and the work was poor. Debbie and Darlene are GREAT!!! After they clean one room they have each other inspect it and then they call me to come and inspect! I have used them twice in the last 3 weeks and I have gotten so many compliments on how my house looks brand new. I had a filthy stove top (due to I being out of town and teenage son and husband cooked and cooked without cleaning it) that I thought I was going to have to replace, well after Debbie scrubbed and scrubbed, it now looks brand new. "Ben came early, assessed the situation, and gave me an estimate. He managed to get the garage door to work for me until he could finish the job. He obtained the parts needed and came back to finish the job. The garage door has worked fine."

Blind Cleaning questions, answered by experts

When you call a professional blind cleaning company, you can expect an estimate for work to be completed. This may involve the professional coming to your home, or they may have you bring the blinds to their business. After you’ve discussed the cost, they’ll deep clean them and fully dry them. They’ll either rehang them for you or send them home with you.

Blinds should be professionally cleaned at least once every six months. This ensures that any dirt, debris, and pet dander is entirely removed. If you have several pets or have severe allergies, it would be best to have them cleaned every two or three months.

To clean your vertical blinds, dust each slat with a feather duster or microfiber cloth. If you need to deep clean the slats, you can remove them and wipe them down with mild soap and water (check the material though, since not every material can handle water). You can also vacuum out dust from the track using a vacuum attachment with a brush.

Depending on your existing cleaning supplies, cellular shades can be more difficult to clean. Their material is more delicate and cannot get wet, meaning you’ll need to rely on vacuums, compressed air, and hair dryers to get the shades clean. This could mean extra strain on your back and shoulders compared to cleaning other parts of your home.

Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. But if you don’t keep up with regular cleaning or have pets that drag in mud and shed all over the house, you might need deep cleaning two or three times a year.
