It was clear when we first called the Egress INC office that this company offers superior customer services. The women we spoke with on our initial call to schedule an appointment were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. They gave an overview of the bidding process and a gross estimate of the costs. The owner came out to provide a very detailed estimate and provided a potential timeline. Again, clearly knowledgeable and very professional individual. There was no high pressure sales, but instead a detailed explanation of the company, its employees and the work. We immediately felt a sense of reassurance that the work would be completed by experts. The installation team was equally professional, polite, pleasant and extremely respectful of our home. Prior to each day of work we were fully informed of the schedule and work to be preformed. all work was completed on time and, in fact, a day ahead of the original schedule. The office staff did a great job of keeping us informed of the county inspection schedule, including a follow up call to make sure all had gone well. The inspector commented that the job was well done. A few days later we had another basement remodeling professional out for a quote on finishing our basement. He commented that the job was well done and that he often needs egress window installs on his projects and asked for Egress INC contact information. Without hesitation we highly recommend Egress INC. "It went wonderful, BK Contractors were just wonderful to work with, his main crew Paulo, Louis, Vincente, and Leno. They were Professional, easy to talk to, willing to answer any questions I had (I had a lot questions for them), they explained everything I asked and went out of their way to insure that we were satisfied. I was really impressed with their thoughtfulness and the attention they paid to detail. I have never met a contractor like Paulo. His crew would point out things on the house that other contractors have done that were sub par (not to sell more work, for them but so that we were aware. In most the areas they did repairs from the prior contractor's mistakes and did not charge us any extra.) In the end I can say that we are so pleased we have new siding, trim, gutters and decided to trim the house in the front with stacked stone. In short our home is beautiful thanks to Paulo and his crew. The price he charged was more than reasonable and work they did was beyond excellent. We could not be any happier with our home as it looks brand new! We were surprised to pay less than what we thought it going to cost us and the finished project is more beautiful than we could have imagined! "The project was a mid-size to bigger size project that included removing parts of the old siding, soffits, fascia boards, gutters and downspouts and window shutters. The siding was replaced with James Hardie siding with a combination of lap siding and shingles and custom window trim. Shutters were replaced with cedar shutters and all gutters were replaced with seamless gutters. Overall the work completed was top notch . We did have a minor issue with the window trim, but that was fixed to what we were good with and they gave us credit on the final payment for the issue. The GS crew was great to work with, very friendly and very responsive. I would definitely hire them again."
