"Had an emergency water pipe leak with water running into the basement where Groundworks had already installed a sump pump and drainage system. The pump clogged up with mud and wouldn’t work. Josh Moreno responded and worked so hard getting the system apart and cleaned out. Unfortunately he couldn’t finish until we got someone out to dig up the front yard and replace main water line. Josh was here first thing Monday morning and finished cleaning the system out, tested everything, and got everything working again. We are so thankful he responded to our home and took care of it. "My old water heater went out yesterday and of course leaked water all over. I shut it off and stopped the leaking. Called early this morning looking for someone to install a new one. Jim was actually sent over by another plumber who could not get to my job right away. Jim showed up, looked at the job, we talked about the options and he gave me a bid. Let to get the new water heater. We back in about thirty minutes. He had to make some changes to the water and gas lines. Added shut offs and installed new one. Took the time to explain operation and maintenance of the new one. Cleaned up the work site. Removed all debris and old water heater. I was impressed with his work and his attitude.

"Called in claim on 6/18; tech assigned on 6 /19; so far so good. Claim was for failed well pump with NO water to my home with two disabled seniors. Due to heavy workload and no extra pay on weekends the tech came for diagnostics 4 days later. He verified the failed pump and tried to purchase one at Home Depot. None in stock, had to be ordered. Pump came in on 6/30 and tech arrived today, 7/1, and expertly installed the new pump. Choice has a $ 500 limit on well repair, which is 1/3 of a typical bill. That dollar cap is riduculous. On a positive note, C-Force provides expert work for Choice and would be my choice for any future work."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
