"Five Star Bath Solutions of Fort Collins just finished our hall bathroom remodel and I'm still a little shocked at how different it looks. Their crew was friendly and efficient ? he replaced a pedestal sink with a two-drawer vanity that finally gave us storage, swapped the dated brass fixtures for matte black, and retiled the floor with a classic black-and-white hex pattern. The whole job came in at the quoted price and was done in two days. We're off Timberline Rd and I've recommended them to everyone on our street."

"Great presintation! They explain all about roofing, product, if there will be any extra cost wood, look in your attic for damages, 3d pictures of your roof how it will look like after it's been done. Added extra ventilation where needed. Clean up was great. I have Dish, they paid the cost to have Dish come back out. There was no surprises! They delivered product one day, next day they removed old wood and replaced with new and extra ventilation. It's just beautiful! They went beyond did extra safety steps for the customer. My roof looks great, beautiful and I can't stop looking at it. We have the roof for Idaho weather not California. The cost is high but you will have a nice product you will not have to worry about for a very very long time. I would recommend this company they are a top quality roofing company."

"Loved working with MyBath Colorado! I was a little skeptical at first with their prices being lower and the fact that the company is a little newer, but was very happy to learn that they have years of experience installing bathrooms together (and that experience definitely shows)! We had them replace a basement shower stall that was moldy and unusable. A lot more work went in than previously expected, but they stayed until the job was complete. I could not be happier with the work or the quality of materials. 5 of 5 stars for sure!"

"I hired Mark to install the drain and water lines for a bar addition in my basement. His communication was great during the bid process and when I hired him for the project. He also provided some ideas other plumbers hadn't thought of. I will be using Z Plumbing & Heating again in the future. Thanks Guys!"

"First let me start by saying that first impressions upon meeting with Cameron Wright were fantastic. Cameron was right on time to view the property and provide the estimate. Cameron was very polite as I walked him around the condo of which was heavily smoked damaged due to years of indoor cigarette use and in relative poor condition overall. Cameron and his brother Jordon provided a detailed scope of work estimate that was easy to understand which I reviewed and after Cameron had assured myself that his company could preform the work within a 5 week timeline I then signed the contract.
A major part of my renovation was the fact that I currently live in California and I could not be there throughout the work so I decided it best to leave ALL the details to Wright Brothers Construction. They picked everything from the flooring color and materials to the cabinets, counter tops, replacement windows, new lighting, paint, etc. That turned out to be the best decision I made because they did a phenomenal job!! At the end of the 5 week deadline, they finished right on time, I walked into the condo and was blown away! The transformation was completely beautiful and the counter tops and back splash immediately stood out as better than expected!! That continued into the bathroom which had everything torn out and replaced. Cameron and Jordon chose a wonderful shower insert that had the bench I had requested for my elderly mother to be able to sit on as she showers. The rest of the tile design within the shower stall is gorgeous with a decorative band and a deep recess to place shampoo and such. All of this was entirely designed by Cameron and his team just like the rest of the condo!! Also the very strong smoke smell has been removed without a trace!! That alone was a tall order and I am very satisfied with the result!!!
I am very pleased with every aspect of this project from the very beginning down to the final reveal and would not hesitate to pass along Wright Brothers Construction references to my family and friends! They did an excellent job and I can not overstate enough how pleased I am to have worked  with such a great contractor!

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Installing a drop-in tub yourself is possible, especially if you’re replacing your existing tub with a new one of the same size. If you’re replacing a different type of tub, you’ll need to build the structure to hold the new drop-in tub and finish the exposed sides. The structure must be sturdy enough to hold the tub when it’s filled with water, and you’ll need to seal it. If any plumbing work is required, it’s best to call a licensed plumber who installs bathtubs.

A good soaking tub will allow you to completely submerge yourself in the water, so it needs to be at least 20 inches deep. Luxury soaking tubs are 24 inches deep so that you can easily have enough space to be submerged in the water once the tub is full.

If you love long soaks, appreciate spa-style decor, and don't mind the extra space, a Roman tub is a beautiful addition to your bathroom.

It is possible to install a two-in-one unit that has both a shower and a walk-in tub so you can still have both in smaller bathrooms or provide a showerhead for those in the household who prefer taking showers. You’ll hear these referred to as walk-in tub and shower combo units. Keep in mind that these combo units can take up more space than a standard shower or tub, and you’ll most likely need to hire a pro to install one.

There are several ways to save money on a bathroom remodel through proper planning and savvy design strategies. To reduce costs, consider the following:

  • Purchase your own materials: Buy your own bathroom fixtures, hardware, and other materials to avoid contractor upcharges and delivery fees.

  • Shop smart for big-ticket items: Save on pricey items like tiles and tubs by shopping sales and at discount stores.

  • Avoid major layout changes: Keep plumbing in its current location. Opt to replace fixtures rather than moving them to avoid significant renovation work.

  • Focus on high-impact, low-cost updates: Make affordable but impactful smaller changes, such as upgrading hardware, installing new lighting, and adding stylish but economical accessories.

  • DIY where possible: Handle easier parts of the remodel yourself, like painting or installing light fixtures, to save on labor costs.

  • Time your remodel strategically: Consider remodeling in the spring, which tends to be a lower-demand time of year and may result in lower costs.
