"Dylan P and T.J. did an amazing job. Dylan explained exactly what they were going to do in removing old tile and bathtub and removing and replacing any damaged wood. The project took all day and they didn't take any breaks. Both of them were considering and professional. I would definitely recommend West Shore Home. I love my new shower!"

"I had a leaking residential hydronic heating system. Walter responded quickly by phone and showed up on time. He walked me through his estimate step by step and didnâ t try to upsell the job. Very professional and courteous! Itâ s great to find qualified professionals. Replaced expansion tank and relief valve. Cost was very reasonable."

"I had an apt with Scott and Cody to get an estimate to have my roof replaced. They were on time and very pleasant. I had a lot of questions and they took their time and answered all of them to my satisfaction. I feel comfortable giving this company my business. I will add a further review after the work is completed."

"The experience with RenewHome Innovations was close to perfect. We had a walk-in shower installed with high end materials such as porcelain walls and a new bathroom floor The experience from beginning to end was smooth. The sales person, Randy, helped us figure out what we wanted in an initial consultation. The office crew (Kaylee, Ann) ordered everything and kept us up to date on delivery schedules. The project manager, Justyn, coordinated the work on site as soon as all the materials were available. RenewHome's plumber, Scott, and assistant Jonathan were in and out in a few hours. Then the big work started with a GREAT subcontractor, L and R Home Remodeling LLC. Edgar and his assistant Adir completely rebuilt the bathroom in 3 days and left everything clean at the end of the day. Edgar and the company owner Isaac came back a few days later and painted, leaving us a perfectly beautiful new bathroom. We are totally delighted."

"

My husband had been deployed with the military. At this time I was the sole parent and decision maker of the household with two young children.
Being stressed and alone, I didn't know where to turn. I asked friends and family for help with a stuck toilet and a leaking water heater. No one was available or had the knowledge to help me. I finally decided to check the local community mailer and came across the Wright Bros. ad. What I liked about their ad is they were local and they immediately responded to my message.
When Cameron came to my home I was instantly comfortable with him and so were my dogs (who in my opinion) are the best judge of character.
Cameron and Jordon were able to fix the leak and take care of installing a new water heater. They were able to get this done and were reasonablely priced.

We were so pleased with their performance we contracted them to remodel our two bathrooms. My husband had a design in mind for the tile placement and fixture replacement.. Even though my husband wasn't present, they were able to conferance and volley ideas over the phone. The job was completed to our ultimate satisfaction.
I look foreward to working with them again with all our future project."

"We meet with a lot of companies, they all talked about value and seemed to be ridiculously expensive and specific. My Bath was a breathe of fresh air, they were able to accommodate all of our needs and they cared. Job was completed on time and looks beautiful."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

When buying caulk, look for ones labeled for tub and tile. These have either acrylic latex or silicone compounds. This allows the caulk to stick to smooth surfaces and prevent mildew from forming.

If you have an alcove in your bathroom, you don’t necessarily need to install an alcove tub. You can choose a drop-in tub and fit the frame to the alcove. This allows you to get a more custom or spa-like look. Think cultured marble or tiling for the frame versus the simpler look of acrylic or fiberglass with an alcove tub.

To keep a walk-in tub in good condition, clean it regularly with non-abrasive cleaners. It is also important to periodically inspect the seals, jets, and faucets to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Completing a full standard bathroom remodel offers the best value, with an average return on investment (ROI) of 70%. However, you don't need a full remodel to make an impact. To maximize value, focus on key components like flooring, the tub and shower, vanity, and cabinets. High-value upgrades include installing a walk-in shower, resurfacing a tub, retiling, or expanding the shower. For more budget-friendly options that still increase value, consider repainting with a light, neutral color, or updating the mirror and light fixtures. It's also crucial to address any necessary repairs, such as leaks, mold, or cracked tiles, as buyers will notice these issues. Avoid flashy upgrades like bathtub jets or steam showers, which don't add as much value.

You can resurface or reglaze your bathtub, and it’s faster and less expensive than replacing a bathtub. Plus, replacing a bathtub is an extensive and intrusive process that requires wall repairs. Refinishing is an excellent option if the old one is in good working condition.

There are also options to install a bathtub liner over your existing tub. However, if you’re seeking a new bathtub with new features, you’ll likely want to replace your tub.
